Walked by this store with my girlfriend who loves mareelen Monrow so thought it would be a nice place to go into and buy her a dress.
The owner greeted us politely enough as we came in but I IMMEDIATELY felt like I was trespassing. For the whole time we were shopping for a beautiful Mareilan monroe t shirt, the owner did not lose eye contact with me as if I was about to steal something. As soon as I told my girlfriend I was scared the owner came over and told me I was not welcome and that I was required to Soulja Boy out of the store. Disappointed with the service and of course we did not end up buying my girlfriends backpack

LOVE LOVE LOVE Marilyn on Kennedy! An amazing Australian owned business. The owner Marilyn is one talented person . She is so knowledgeable about the products in the store. Fashion history is clearly her area of expertise-coupled with outstanding styling styling skills! Marilyn really knows what look to dress you in -from top to toe-including the divine vintage accessories. All products are in excellent condition.
I would give more stars if I could.

Marilyn is my spirit animal and runs this store very well with professionalism. These reviews are littered with precious gen z kids who've never worked a day in their life. All hail Marilyn!

This shop offers outstanding vintage clothing that Sydney and Melbourne doesn't have including Stagg jackets from the 80s etc and other highly collectible items. I thoroughly recommend this cute little venue to anyone looking for amazing clothing or a treasured gift for family or friends. And I hear the owner could be offering amazing coffee within the coming weeks. So drop in for a look around, as I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Wow! What a wonderful store with the most fabulous vintage treasures..lucky Canberra! And excellent customer service from the divine Miss Marilyn who really knows her stuff! She took the time to listen to my needs and found me the perfect outfit! Highly recommend this beautiful store if yr ever in Canberrra..Marilyn is so lovely and will go the extra mile to help you find that special piece!

Absolutely wonderful little gem of a shop in Old Kingston shops. Very reasonable prices (and some bargains if you have an eye for it!), and a fantastic range of vintage fashion in very good condition. The shop is located in a heritage building, the vibe is incredible. Love this shop, cannot stress it enough! Keep up the good work x

Marilyn is extremely passionate knows her business and product. We travel to ACT every month on a business trip and the highlight of our trip is to call into the Kingston area to see Marilyn and browse the amazing vintage clothing boutique. Marilyn on Kennedy point of difference is all her clothes are preloved preowned yet she brings them back to life and they are in pristine condition due to her hard work. Nice cozy shop tucked away on Kennedy St, Kingston, with loads of interesting vintage items---jewelry, clothes, shoes, nick-knacks, silver, ornaments, some books and furniture. Pleasant to browse and buy with Marilyn's charm and assistance.

Just got my authentic Simpsons Duff T shirt, fab great condition great value will defs keep my eye on the kit Marilyn has, all designer clothes new and pre loved. Worth a visit

I came away confused about my experience. This store was beautiful and had some lovely gems, but the service was not pleasant to say the least. The owner was not very warm when it came to negotiating a price and I was accused of stealing another earring when it was right in front of her. I would of appreciated a bit more kindness and courtesy when it comes to general customer service.

Seems many other people here had a similar experience as I did. I was visiting for a week from out of state for a friend's wedding and was staying near this shop and thought it looked cool, I went in to look around and after a couple of minutes the owner started to become quite rude and insinuated that I couldn't afford anything in the shop and was eventually told I should leave.

I gave 2 stars only because the store does have some interesting stuff as long as you can get past the owner's rudeness.

If you want an experience like no other you need to go here.

I and a few friends from interstate had been to the local supermarket on our way back to the car we decided to pop in and have a look. I didn’t have my hand bag with me at the time and had my mobile with an unopened bottle of drink.

I was making my way through when I was presented with a lady who told me I couldn’t have the drink in the store, I explained it was not opened
and I wouldn’t be drinking it in the store she then proceeded to take the drink out of my hands then placed it on a shelf l. I expressed I wasn’t comfortable leaving my drink. This I believe was the owner replied we are a high end vintage store with $3000 items. I collected my drink and left.

Extremely poor Customer Service and communication skills.

This store was very cluttered, if you are wanting to maintain the “High End” phrase review your shop layout and attitude
with no price tags, it seems you just make it up as you go and hope for the best.
