Lovely little town to just chill out, have lunch and go for a walk around

My sister and I - both first-time visitors to Evandale - were warmly greeted by three friendly and helpful volunteers at the community centre. We learned about local history and upcoming events and purchased affordable local artwork and downright cheap secondhand books ($1 each) from the centre's gallery and book sale.

Make sure you call in when travelling. Theres nothing like local knowledge to give you some history and tips.

Very welcoming and knowledgable staff (volunteers) run the centre extremely well. We had plenty of time to take the exhibition items in the centre and all the historic sites around town.
