Went for a day trip to Longford. Stopped in for lunch, meal was great couldn't fault it. Had the chicken schnitzel, tender, generous portions. Bar and eating area were very clean and tidy. Friendly bar staff. Great motor memorabilia from the 60's. Thanks team 😀👌👍

Excellent meals. Be adventurous! My husband said it was the best steak he has had in a long time. I wish I had ordered the duck as they are proper chefs. As it was a pub, I played safe and had the chicken schnitzel. The Schnitzel was very nice, but you don't always get duck on offer, especially at a pub. Highly recommend the meals. We went about 4 to 6 weeks ago. It can take me a while to write a review.

Part of the historic Longford racing folklore, a must visit pub for any visiting petrol heads! Good food, cold beer and a car & bike racing history lesson to boot!

We have been to this pub many times over the years and it has always been up and down in quality of food and swore we wouldn't return but after hearing they were under new management we tried again and were extremely impressed! The steaks were amazing and the sauces were handmade as were the onion rings. Great presentation. Will definitely return.

Dropped in for an early evening meal. Happened to be schnitzel night, the 2 we had were delicious. Lots of great memorabilia celebrating Longford's racing history.

Rating 5 stars for the meal - not the decor which is old & tired. Had the scotch fillet, with gravy, chips and salad. The steak was perfect, juicy tender, smoky and huge! Good chips, plenty of salad with a nice dressing. Lots of gravy on the steak. I was so engrossed in devouring my delicious meal I hardly noticed the decor. I sat on the sunny side of the bistro, and even on the cold day was lovely and warm with the sun coming through the window.

The hotel with a racing car in the front window & racing memorabilia in the dining room. Parmi night Thursdays although available on the menu, delicious steaks & fisg & chips. Live Blues music in the Beer Garden Sundays.

Very friendly and helpful to accept a large group for afternoon beers and yummy toasties with no notice - we will come back and hope to organise a group dinner there next time. Love the motorsport memorabilia!

Absolutely superb steak..2 nights in a row. Lovely vibe. Very nice staff. Didn't stay there, but stayed at Queens Arms...which had fabulous rooms

Went there for lunch 😋. Wife was delighted with her meal, the portion size was huge ( I had the remainder for a large breakfast the next day ).
