Lake Leather Evandale

When in Evandale stop in and have a good look around. They have some fantastic shoes, clothes rugs, hats….. just go in and have a look, we loved it. Very friendly lady that gave us some great advice for our day in town.

We didn't actually buy anything here - wanted some shoes but the size wasn't available. Lovely people though, great service and a very cute sleepy old dog that loved a pat. Some really cool leather stuff here, and amazing variety. Highly recommend checking it out for yourself!

The store has so many different options of goods from fluffy socks to bags. And not to mention the great service which made the shopping experience great as both staff were knowledgeable and kind! Ended up buying fluffy socks and was a great product, cannot take them off 😊

Just adore this store and there sister store. This one we were almost sent back in time with the quant village from 1800s. I learnt the leather shop used to be the old Butcher shop and it still has those remnants. Perfect store with gorgeous cowhide in various colours and shading and reindeer. RM Williams boots nd clothing, ugg slippers were so so cosy! Just have a little of everything but the handbags too were so fabulous! Handmade just awesome!

Fabulous array of leather goods. Belts, boots, bags, beanies and woollen goods. Great prices. Four stores in Tasmania. Quaint store, friendly service. Worth a visit. 9 km off the highway.

Lake Leather has a beautiful range of well-made leather products; handbags, backpacks, shoes, belts, wallets and more. I did not purchase anything from here as it was out of my price range, however a friend bought some shoes which he absolutely adores and says are very comfortable.

An absolute joy of a shopping experience. I am not a "natural shopper" and struggle to know what 'works' for me but I was treated to a safe space with genuine advice and I have fabulous items that make me look and feel fabulous. Thank you Georgia! An absolute gem of a shop keeper and great to meet a fellow pomy so far from home ♥

A wonderful cosy store with lots of handbags, shoes, menswear too. Came away with a few items and love them. Friendly service, highly recommend!

I can give Lake Leather 5 stars but I have not been there for at least five years. What is wrong with Google maps which keeps saying I have been when I have not. Businesses should be very aware.

Very friendly & helpful sales person. The shop had lots of leather options ie shoes, bags, boots, gloves, skins & much more with everything set out perfectly for customers to see, feel & try. Service was prompt & friendly. All in all a lovely shop with top quality products.

Fantastic service - extreemly helpful and phoned other stores and providers to try to locate item we were after.
Prices were comparable with everywhere else, and with the high quality of goods and services we'd rather spend our money here supporting a smaller local Tassie shop.
Huge range af goods to look at, and nothing was a problem. Pity more places aren't like this one.
Would give it more stars if I could.
(Oh, and whilst we couldn't get exactly what we wanted, ad the supplier wasn't making the item, we spent our money here on our 2nd choice 🙂).

The R.M. Williams I purchased here came with probably the most knowledgeable service to be found in Tasmania. Thank you Ian and Georgie. The fit and the process behind ordering the boots from the factory were all explained in great detail. The owner (Ian) even allowing me to purchase his boots which had just arrived after a long wait - same size, same width!

Excellent choice of R.M. Williams products in store plus other leather related brands. Highly recommend this store for genuine and knowledgeable service.

Love this place. Such a variety of Tasmanian made products. I purchased a bottle brush that cleaned my metal straw. Great little gadget.
