St Pius' Catholic Primary School

St. Pius' Catholic Primary School has been the best school for our 2 children, now 13 and 10. The teaching and office staff are all amazing and they really know our children. The children are prepared incredibly well for high school. Our children have loved participating in STEM Challenges and being a part of the school band.

The school has beautiful, modern and refurbished classrooms including the library, and the school offers great playground spaces too.

There is a genuine sense of community in our school. I would highly recommend St. Pius' Catholic Primary School.

Could have not imagine a better start of school life for our daughter. Great sense of belonging and a very welcoming community. Every kids in the school look after each others and Year 6 are paired with a kindy so they can provide extra support and guidance for this new transition to big school. Parents are engaged at every single stage of school life and of course the P&F is putting extra efforts to support the kids, the school and the parents. The teachers and educators are all very committed and approachable.

We have been a member of the St Pius' family for the past 7 years. We have found the teachers and staff at St Pius' to inclusive, caring and compassionate. They always put the children first. The family community is warm and friendly. If you are looking for a school that has state of the art facilities, refurbished classrooms, onsite before and after school care, a wonderful social network in the inner west, then give St Pius' a look. I can't thank them enough for what they have offered my children and our family.

My 3 children now 11, 13 and 15 all attended St Pius’ Catholic Primary School. I can’t speak more highly of the caring and supportive staff including admin/office staff, before/after school care staff and Miss Simone in the canteen. The school has a lovely community feel, small class sizes and dedicated teachers.

We moved from Canada 2 years ago and our son initially went to Woollahra Public due to the apparent positive reputation it had with regards to the O.C program etc. however, 6 months into being there we realized it was a very poor teacher to student ratio & school work checks were not being done or were being marked incorrectly likely due to teachers being overworked with lack of support- including lack of support for special needs children.
The school was over populated, chaotic & we felt like our son was just a number sadly. He hated going every morning which was not like him at all!

We moved to St. Pius Catholic primary the following year and were so incredibly happy to see the individual attention being given to the kids! Excellent ratios & reasonable amount of homework to prepare the kids for high school etc. St. Pius has a lovely community feel with a great school culture & such a positive environment. Our son absolutely loves going to school everyday & is well prepared for starting high school next year.

Great local school with amazing staff and near new facilities.

Our daughter started kindy there and we couldn’t be more happy. The school put together an induction program drom mid last year that really helped with the transition, and all the older children have been so welcoming!

The most special of schools. Children, families and teachers are superb. We love our St P Community so much and our daughter thrives in the environment.

My children are in year 1 now and I am very happy with them being at St Pius. The staff are amazing, the environment is very nurturing the the school community is really lovely. A big draw card coming here was the availability of before and after school care...the Kids Club here is wonderful and my kids have developed strong bonds to the educators here. They want to come every day.
St Pius is highly recommended as a parent.

Great community school in the heart of marrickville/enmore . Fantastic pre post after school care and cares deeply about the kids educational structure. Being such a community school it welcomes everyone not only from Catholic upbringing .

Great community school, provides pre and after school care , near Marrickville metro so very convenient in my eyes ! . Fantastic hidden gem in the inner west . Would throughly recommend the school and it’s curriculum activities..

Amazing School, welcoming and enclusive community. Fabulous teachers and support staff, spacious outdoor play areas, modern, well equipped classrooms.

one teacher gave me a black eye but nice school yk
