I'll like to both commend and express my deep gratitude to the staff of K-Mart Marrickville Metro and specifically Zara to a great degree for helping me and my partner find our daughter who had a temper tantrum and decided to hide inside the immense store.

Zara made an announcement over the PA and recruited some of her co-workers to assist in the over 20min exhaustive search for my foolish daughter, thankfully we found her in the end and reprimanded her accordingly. I will definitely patron here again as they're one of the few retails that still give a damn about their customers and lost children. Thank You.

Nice Kmart store, wide stock and a great variety of items. The store layout is fairly easy to navigate with towering signs indicating the sections of the shop. Strangely, the checkouts are in the centre of Kmart, which can be confusing for some visitors. Overall, it is a good place to shop with an extensive range of cheap items.

I received THE best customer service from Alyssa, the manager this afternoon. Alyssa assisted
with assembling a pet carrier that had been purchased online by a friend. The instructions were badly written and difficult to understand. William at the entrance kindly called Alyssa for me.

Top marks to a great store and excellent staff. I would like to give a shout out to the service desk staff who, about 3.15 today (Saturday), dealt with a foul person with calmness, grace and courtesy. This woman believed she was entitled to have two people running around to find her a trolley and/or help her get her purchases to her car. (Perhaps the apocalyptic rain event happening at the time had something to do with why the trolley collectors were unable to keep them stocked to your liking, Karen.) When offered the opportunity to drive her car to the loading dock to collect her items, her retort was to question why 'their service issue had become her problem'. Meanwhile, others were kept waiting in the queue. The nerve of it. You reckon spending $300 (originally you said $200 but hey) gives you the right to behave like that? You are NO more important than someone who spent $3. Wake up to yourself.

Good range in store for a place like Marrickville

I recently had the pleasure of shopping at Kmart in Marrickville Metro on a Thursday night, close to 9pm. Helpful information was received by all employees regarding the outdoor setting I was after and the process was smooth and hassle-free. A special mention to Louie; this young gentleman seemed to be restocking / on returns and did not appear to be 'customer facing' as to speak but went out of his way to help me. Not only was he willing to check internal systems of other stock availability, but even ran to grab me a tape measure so I could judge a couple of dimensions, all in the space of 2 minutes. It is thanks to people like him that make retail shopping enjoyable

Kmart Merrickville was a really big Kmart store that had a big range of everything good layout clothing on the back wall and in the middle kids section to the left and home section to the right good customer service I would suggest it as a good Kmart shopping experience.

Just want to say the customer service staff are wonderf in this store..they are extremely helpful to sort out any issues or to help locate an item. I recently bought a bike from this store and was helped by Douglas...what can I say he is an asset to this store...he goes above and beyond. Thanks so much.

The woman who helped me with a return order Feb 23 was so lovely. Really went above and beyond to help me through the process. I didn't get her name but appreciate her patience

Very reliable Click n Collect service, always picked within 24 hrs unlike other Kmarts I've been to. Recently had an issue with a CnC, a very kind staff member called Mohini managed to help me on the phone. She was not even in the CnC section and was still happy to assist, made my day. Great job and will definitely be returning here soon

I grew up wearing the latest and greatest clothes. If I could only get that money back.
Now I am Kmart all day. $3.75 for a slick plain black tee.. C'mon, whatever designer tee with some lame logo or print on it can suck a fat one.
