Port Huon Cottages

Great location if you are travelling here without a car and want a charming place to stay with water views. The self catering units were so clean and tidy. Tom and Ling were both warm and helpful. Bed was comfy and the whole place felt cosy. Seen a few things about the noise but I slept like a log. Would return here if I was exploring the area again

The view is absolutely stunning, and the residences are perfect for cheap stays with the necessities supplied. The staff are incredibly kind and always checked up on us when they saw us. Would love to come back here on my next trip to Tassie

Great affordable self contained units, right on the water, they even have kayaks for you to use. Perfect for families, solo travellers or mature adventurers looking to explore Tassie! Make sure to check out Frank's Cider as well! You won't regret it.

The owners are lovely and will go above and beyond to cater to you and answer any questions you may have on the area and what to do.

Spacious and clean. Lovely views. WiFi was fine for us in unit 6, close to the modem. Good facilities in the unit or available from reception. Stayed for 2 nights and would stay again

We had a great stay at the cottage,at first I'd been a bit disappointed as all our Motel accommodation through our Travel Agent I'd requested water views & water view balconies & we had Cabin 6 but after reading some of the reviews about road noise/traffic it was probably for the best..The cabin was spotless & very comfortable & as we'd booked in late Tom put on the heater for us which very much appreciated as it was really cold..Not much in the way of eateries in Geeveston but we went to the pub in the next town & had the Curried Scallops & Steak Sandwich which was great..

Very nice cottages. Clean, spacious and welcoming. Own space and not on top of other guests. View of water is refreshing and relaxing. Only booked for one night but wished we knew of this place earlier so we could have altered our plans for extra nights. Staff friendly and polite.

Great time spent over 3 night! Tom and Ling (owners) gave us some local knowledge of the best eats and sights. Will definitely be back! Nice clean rooms and very comfortable beds, bbq and full kitchen was more then we expected. Thank you! We will return!!

I only spent one night here. Very welcoming staff at reception. My cottage was warm and cosy. Bed was very comfortable and had an electric blanket. Also spotless, I couldn't fault it for anything. I would definitely stay again. Thank you

Lovely warm welcome from owner Ling. Very helpful to we northerners. These s.c. cabins were exactly what we wanted. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and with outstanding views of the water and mountains - from our bed!

Perfectly comfy place to stay with an awesome view. Nice to have the living area separated from the sleeping area too. Not sure why it's listed as 1-star as it feels far more cosy than that.

Short drive to Petty Sessions which served up a great dinner!

Had a fabulous 2 nights at the Cottages. Ling and Tom delightful hosts and the cottages were immaculate, very comfortable and stunning view across to the water. I will definitely return.

What a sensational experience, Tom and Ling provided us with a stay that we will never forget. Our suitcase was carried from our car to our room, when entering our room we found our heater on and a clean and warm and cosy cottage. The cottage has everything you need for a short or long stopover.Very clean with great veiws and i would recommend these cottages to all who would like a very relaxing experience.

We stayed here for a few days in late December 2012 (29/12/12 to 02/01/13) Great place to base yourself for some tourist duties in the south - eastern area of Tasmania. It had all the facilities we needed including washing and drying as well as a barbecue.

I cannot recommend this place enough, I had such a peaceful and calm stay here, thanks Tom and Ling, you were great hosts, I'm very grateful for your help and suggestions. Hope to visit in the future. Thanks again.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days,Tom and Ling were lovely people very helpful in every way.The cabins were spotless and well equip,the spa was so relaxing & they had TV's in every room.Port Huon Cottages the way they look after you and the rooms are of high standard.Keep up the good work, Tom and Ling we will be back one day.Sue and Steven Coolum Beach Qld April 2018
