Donalea Bed & Breakfast

Magnificent house in a beautiful location. Hosts were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and top quality. I have no concerns recommending Donalea for your stay.

A great waterfront B&B with a beautiful view. Don & Leanne are lovely owners and very helpful. The two bedrooms apartment is spacious and nice with kitchen, lounge and outside seating area. Beds are comfortable. Highly recommended.
Woolworth & bottle shop are not far, 15 mins driving.

Don and Leanne were great hosts. Lovely breakfast with fresh local produce. The quietest sleep for a long time. A well presented home and spectacular garden. We ended up staying two nights!

We were, unfortunately, only able to stay here 1 night - it seemed much too short a time. Leanne and Don were amazing hosts, and the room was spacious, warm (yes- was a thing even in summer this year!) and has an amazing view of the Huon River. Highly recommended.

Of 9 stop over places on our recent holiday in the 2 bedroom at Donalea was far and above the most comfortable, best equipped and great setting. Hosts were fantastic...welcoming and super helpful. Would recommend.

Don and Leanne are friendly welcoming hosts. The setting is beautiful with lovely views to the Huon River, and a wonderful garden to enjoy. Delicious continental breakfast including homemade breads, jams and stewed fruit. The room with ensuite is very clean and comfortable. Thankyou for a wonderful much needed long weekend.

Everything about Donalea is superb!
The property is set in a beautiful, relaxing, cottage garden with a gorgeous view of the Huon River. The decor and attention to detail is faultless. High ceilings, loungeroom fireplace, comfortable furnishings, balcony, outside BBQ, library, movies & even a beautiful Kawai piano add a touch of luxury to Donalea.

The bed was comfortable & the huge bathroom with luxury spa plus the extra toilet added to our comfort.

The breakfast was a feast every morning - homemade bread, coffee, warmed pastries, and local fresh fruit.
Leane & Don were welcoming, friendly and helpful. After 4 nights we didn't want to leave!

If you're looking for a luxury escape you've found it! We will definitely be back!! Thank you Leane & Don for making Donalea so special. ☺

Highly recommended B&B for guests of all ages. Great hosts. Great breakfasts (so much on offer), plus great views of river. And so much to see and do in the Huon Valley. Do yourself a favour. Do NOT drive past.

We stayed in River view apartment and it is easily the nicest place I have ever stayed. 2 bedrooms, roomy, very attractive decor, amazing gardens, great views. Many thoughtful touches from lovely hosts, I would highly recommend.

Quaint bed & breakfast located at a great position to explore the Huon. Breakfast shared in communal room with other guests. Lovely stay with excellent hosts.

The place is so well organised and very clean.. Fresh fruit and muffins, croissants and coffee for breakfast. Both Don and Leanne were very accommodating and friendly.

Absolutely stunning location. Don and Leanne were so incredibly pleasant, friendly and helpful. The rooms were stunning and large with pleasant views. I felt so welcome with an overall homely feel.

Amazing. Cereal, real brewed coffee, tea made with tea leaves. Home made man's and home grown fresh fruits. Even the bread was him ee made, white, wholemeal and spicy fruit bread. I have never felt more welcome like I did here.

Beautiful home, extremely comfortable beds, very hospitable owners, lovely breakfast. Best night's sleep we had the whole trip! Thank you.

We spent a couple of nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The people are lovely and helpful, it was a quiet place, very clean and we so loved the breakfast to start our day off. Would highly recommend a stay here
