Lavender Lane Early Learning Services Gungahlin

My son has been attending Lavender Lane since January 2023 and the growth in him has been amazing. From his speech to his motor skills. He also loves the staff, they're so caring and nurturing. I never worry about him when I drop him off, he has the best time. I also love the regular updates we get via their app.

To say we love this daycare is an understatement! The educators are kind, caring and act as second parents to our kids. Our youngest had a medical episode while at daycare last year and the way the staff responded to it was seamless, caring and second to none. Our kids are so comfortable and happy, drop offs are a BREEZE. We are forever grateful to the staff at Lavender Lane and couldn’t imagine our kids going to a different centre!!

My daughter has attended this service for the last 2 years, she is always excited to go to “school” and comes home telling us all the fun that she has had. The educators care for the children and there wellbeing and are on top of our Daughter’s asthma plan always keeping in contact and letting us know each day how she went. My daughter attends full time and it makes it so easy and helps me relax knowing that she is cared for ,loved and learning so much in Lavender Lane Gungahlin Care

We really love this centre. The staff are caring and kind and are happy to tailor their approach to your child’s needs. There are lots of rooms with smaller numbers of children - so our child gets that extra attention and consistency in who is caring for them. It is slightly more expensive than other centres, but worth it.

They literally have the most AMAZING STAFF! The educators really do go above and beyond - They have assisted our son with his development in a very individualised way. They are very accommodating.  Such a safe, fun, loving environment - one that I can not fault. I love Lavender Lane and so does my son. Highly recommend.

My girls have been going to Lavender Lane for more than three years now. The staff there really care about the kids - they know their likes and dislikes, who their friends are, what they've done during the day etc. Staff turnover is very low with many of the carers being there for 5+ years.

The centre itself is very cosy with nice rooms, great play areas (separate ones for babies, toddlers and preschoolers), chickens and a garden. The kids get served awesome food every day.

There's always fun activities and my preschooler gets to do science experiments and all kinds of educational activities. They do a great job of tailoring learning experiences to individual needs.

In short, Lavender Lane is everything that a great daycare should be. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The staff are such wonderful, caring individuals. They go the extra mile for all the families and have always been so inclusive with my son. I cannot speak more highly of this centre.

Natalie and I have sent our two children, soon to be three to Lavender lane since they were 9 months old. As new parents we were extremely nervous to hand our first child over and head to work, but those nerves were quickly gone by the care, love and professionalism that Mardi and the team she has built up showed us and our children from day one.
We have learnt just as much off the staff as the children and they’re always available for any advice or even just a friendly chat.

I never really appreciated how much the educators love and care for the kids at Lavender Lane until I went to my daughters graduation last year where Mardi gave a speech whilst her and her team held back tears stating that “they are always a mess at graduation days as they say goodbye to the children they have become close too over the years but this year was extremely special and hard as they were saying goodbye to the last child of a family that had been with the center since it’s opening 10 years ago”.
Both my children have adored going to “school” each morning and even the days when they don’t their “favourite staff member” is always on hand to make the drop offs easier.
The recent introduction of Kindy Hub app is a great tool that keeps us up to date with Photo’s, Learning and events at the centre.
We’ve never had any concerns or issues at Lavender Lane and strongly recommend the centre.

My two children have attended Lavender Lane in Gungahlin since a very young age and we LOVE everything about it! Particularly the staff and the warm welcoming feel that you get every time you enter the door. As a school teacher specialising in earlychildhood, I have high standards of care and the beautiful educators at Lavander Lane tick every box!

Lavender Lane Gungahlin is a fantastic child care centre. The centre is always clean and the staff are professional, friendly, caring and helpful at all times. My daughter always has a great day and loves going to Lavender Lane.

Have had two kids through this child care centre and loved it! Have been to other centres but this one was my favourite as the carers don't change often, always make time for the parents and are just a lovely bunch of people. Definitely recommended it!

A beautiful, nurturing and accommodating centre surrounded by nature —the perfect setting for early learning in a child's most fundamental years. The staff are warm, kind and supportive. The centre is always clean and inviting with an abundance of hands-on activities, cultural awareness and a menu that is sure to satisfy any hungry belly!

The center is the best around my area. The staff are very kind. The teachers in my daughter's room look after her very well and play with her like friends. She loves it.
