We own a small semi in the inner west so it is often difficult to get tradies who want to bother with our small spaces. For this job we only got the lounge room and hallway repainted. Our house is over 100 years old so there was a lot of prepping work to be done.
From the get go the team from Dial a Painter (Sydney Inner West Painters) were a dream to work with. For the quote they turned up on time, and nothing was ever a problem. The quote was detailed and easily illustrated the work ahead. They instructed us to get our new doors and electrical sorted before proceeding too.
From day one the team turned up at exactly 7am and was always energetically enthusiastic to get the job done. They were a pleasure to have in our home.
Their work ethic was fantastic and the quality of the work was 5 star. They always cleaned up after themselves and even left us touch up paint. They completed the job on estimated time. The job was overseen at various stages by the management and we cannot express how happy we are with the service, price and completed job.
Management of work teams was amazing. We would like to thank everyone who transformed our little rooms: Aaron, Michael, Andrea, Sandro, Adam and Lucas, into something we are proud to come home too. We are also mould and crack free for many years to come.

High quality job doing external painting on our Federation style property in Haberfield. The team was fairly priced, professional, polite and tidy leading to a high quality result.

Aaron and Michael run a fantastic and professional painting business in the Inner West. All aspects including quoting, arranging a start time (short notice), reliability and the quality of the work were excellent. They also left the house clean and tidy after a very big job! Our freestanding terrace house in Petersham is over 100 years old. I initially engaged Dial a Painter, based on neighbour recommendations, to repair, refresh and touch up painted surfaces internally as required room by room. I was very happy with their workmanship and flexible approach. Even though the task was extremely “piecemeal” there were no misunderstandings or disagreements. I then engaged Dial a Painter to paint externally.
Again, I was 100% happy with the process and the quality of their work. It was a pleasure to have Michael and his team of painters at our place. They worked well together and were considerate and always left the workplace clean. Communication with Michael was excellent as was his technical knowledge. I was particularly impressed with their work ethic to not cut corners. One of our upstairs walls was too damp to repair and paint at the time. Michael suggested waiting to allow the wall to thoroughly dry. Several months later in February they returned to complete the work.

Aaron and his team did a time effective and great job of painting the outside of my Federation house. They were helpful, pleasant and open to requests. I would not hesitate to ask them back for further work.

We have had the outside and inside painted now and both times they have done a lovely job. On time, very polite and so easy to deal with.

After a thorough examination of my Victorian terrace Aaron provided me with a detailed quote for painting the outside and most of the inside. He also gave me excellent advice about colour schemes. The team started painting the following week and the work was completed in five days. I couldn't be happier with the efficiency and the quality of the work. They fixed up peeling surfaces and water damage, and stained some doors and other woodwork beautifully. The painting is neat and the house looks fabulous.

Highly recommended. I've used Dial a Painter several times for some major works in my California Bungalow house in the inner west. The team are true to their word, they turn up on time, are lovely to work with and communicate clearly so I always know what is going on, they clean up perfectly and do a great job.

Everything about this company worked for me. From the moment they turned up ( on time) to view the scope, and said all the things that told me they “got” what was involved. Specialising in old homes, which requires a certain finesse and extra care, their experience was evident.
The on-site team was personable, used ear buds, ( quiet workers ), accommodated my quirks and anxieties, worked their buns off to finish earlier than estimated because they were aware of the disruption it caused me.
The finished job pleases me no end. Interacting with the bosses and the site team was easy and a pleasure.

Dealing with Aaron and Michael from Dial-a-Painter from initial quote to finished job has been a total pleasure. They have exceptional communication skills and a terrific team of painters working together. The job has been finished with attention to every detail and they still offer to come back for touch up after any trade damage when the new carpet has been laid.10/10

We made contact with Aaron Vance by phone after receiving two previous quotes for a full repainting of the outside of our house from other painting businesses. Our house is a double brick, double fronted 1926 bungalow, painted in heritage colours. Aaron impressed us from the get-go. He was pleasant, punctual and more importantly he knew his profession and also had a sound knowledge of the use of heritage colours. Aaron undertook a thorough examination of the work to be done, which the other two didn't do and as icing on the cake, his quote came in below the others as well! The team under Aaron's employ did a marvellous job and the preparation of the painting surfaces was meticulous. They were all very agreeable people who do a very professional job. We couldn't recommend them more highly. We will call on them again when it is time to do the interior painting.
