I had an incredibly affirming experience with Dr. Nelumka Dayaratne today. Her kind and patient manner not only made me feel heard and understood but also left me with a renewed sense of hope. Even though there are tests to be done, I left the appointment feeling significantly better than when I arrived. Thank you, Dr. Dayaratne; your compassion and expertise have restored my faith in the medical profession.

I see some people complaining about running behind schedule... I'm unaware of any clinic in the NT, or Australia for that matter; that runs on time, and I'm including specialists that I've paid over $300 per visit for, and these guys bulk bill.

Secondly, they go over time because they are spending extra time with the patients and actually putting an effort in to helping you.

I live in the northern suburbs with clinics much closer to me but prefer to make the drive as they are great, top service by top people.

Staff willing to help in getting the doctor needed. They will try to make an appointment to the doctor requested. The best thing is that we can do tele health. Which I mean that I live in katherine and I can talk to my doctor anytime. In katherine, it is difficult to get the doctor, so palmerston Medical Center is my treating doctor. So nice and knowledgeable never to estimate the need of their patients. Because of doctors in this clinic, I was able to overcome my major medical health problem.

A lot of people reviewing this medical centre have no idea how lucky they are. I'm from Alice Springs and have recenetly relocated to Darwin. To see a doctor there, the wait time was about 2 weeks and no one does bulk billing.
1. This clinic does not make you wait long for an appointment, if you're ill you can get one within a week.
2. They bulk-bill, be grateful it doesn't cost a lot.
3. Yeah you may have to wait a little while, be patient doctors are extremely busy at the moment but are doing the best they can.

Today was the first time since moving to the NT 3.5 years ago that I felt like I had a doctor who wanted to make sure he diagnosed me correctly and wasn't getting me in and out like a dollar value. Yes, there was a little bit of wait time, but I'm happy to wait for a good doctor and I find a bit of wait time standard across most medical practitioners.

I haven't had a family doctor since I left New Zealand 9 years ago. I look forward to making Michael Lim my family doctor for the foreseeable future.

I find everybody helpful and friendly, the doctor impressed me by being informed and knowledgeable on my medical diagnosis even though it is little known Australia wide.
I have a rough time in social situations but everyone here helps and makes things easy to understand. The children's doctor is amazing too both he Dr Ben and Dr Aruna are brilliant and comforting doctors.
I am glad I found these Gems, totally disagree with other reviews about receptionists too, myself and family have found they are kind, patient and friendly. They take all the time they can to explain things to me.

This is a very popular clinic they are always busy and fall behind, so the wait time can be up to 30mins sometimes, They make sure that they explain things to you and that you understand, they are kind and patient. Out of all the Drs I only ever see 3 now. I have seen them all, Only 1 I had a problem with as he hates to give antibiotics or pain relief for anything including when it is needed. Also very important they bulk bill. I have been going there for years now and still will.

Waiting time is always an issue for me. Even if you booked at a specific time slot, there were always a delay before you get to see your doctor. ranging from 10 to 30 minutes. I won't complain as consultation time varies with each patient and delays are expected at bulk bill clinic due to number of patients visiting.

I find Dr. Harsha kind and approachable. I always choose to see him whenever I visit this clinic.

Very professional, clean and great service by the Admin and Medical personnel.

Went in and saw Dr Samarasena , she was great, very helpful and explain exactly why I was experiencing sickness and how the medication would help it. Staff at counter were friendly and efficient. This is much better than clinics in Darwin.

Dr Harsha Gunawardhana is an exceptional GP who has proven himself repeatedly to have a high standard of knowledge and he goes out of his way to ensure patient comfort. Every Doctor that has treated my family at this clinic have been professional and provided a high standard of service. As competition has increased, the clinic would benefit from a refurb and the online booking app functionality should be improved to increase client satisfaction and to attract new clients.

Dr. Aruna did some minor surgery for me when I had a soccer injury. He has wonderful chairside manner, was kind and patient. Strongly recommend the service.
