This is the worst Real Estate agents in Canberra..

I have had my rent money held by bolt and co refusing to pay me, I have repeatedly asked for the funds to be paid. The reason is completely unclear I have been told repeatedly the funds would be made available.

I asked repeatedly for repairs to be carried out to the properties, I was continuely told that quotes are being sought. However no repairs have been carried out, 8 weeks of asking for repairs in one circumstance to the bathroom.

I am now being refused the keys to my property despite one of my properties now being vacant. Bolton and co are now saying the will keep the property keys for 30 days, vacant they will stop me from receiving rent, finding a new tenant.

I believe that I will have to take action through the courts against them for the losses they are forcing upon me. They are not receiving rent from the vacant property, holding on to the keys is preventing lease of the property, this is a restriction of my ability to make money.

Pitiful, predatory, and woeful service.

This company took over from Peter Blackshaw and had no issues with either company until the last couple weeks. When suddenly (while rent prices are skyrocketing in the area) they decide that the house is not in good enough condition and sent me a 14 day notice to vacate and have been unable to justify the vacation notice so I will be forced to go to ACAT. This is after 5 years of no failed inspections, and no issues with payment of rent. They are disgusting and predatory, they care nothing for the people renting from them and when called out will abuse you then accuse you of being a bad tenant.

Beware this agent.

As a long-term renter, I can attest that this is the worst property management agency in Canberra. Horrendous, predatory property management practices. They don’t listen, treat tenants like animals and don’t even know the law. If you ask questions or make reasonable arguments, the boss of the agency starts swinging his influence around.

If you have a choice, avoid this agency at all costs. If you don’t have a choice, ask them for the legal basis of every document they ask you to sign.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from these pack of vultures. I used to deal with peter blackshaw and their fantactic team, but since the take over by bolton I've had nothing but problems. Currently being given a notice to vacate for a fabricated failure of inspection. Everyone please speak to ACAT if you think you're being dealt an unfair hand by this mob!!

Absolute shambles of an organization. Dealing with 5 different agents in the space of a month with clearly no communication or checking of emails between each other. Could go on and on and onnnn. Long story short, enter a lease with eyes open. They are not a well oiled machine...

I don't even have words to describe how poor and disrespectful this real estate is. We've been having major issues that could cause death and even burn out the house for over 18 months and they only say that they're waiting to hear from the landlord. Shame!
