The Common Bistro

We are visiting Margaret river for the first time and wanted to find a nice place for dinner. Stumbled along this place by other good reviews. The service was absolutely amazing, lovely staff. It was a Thursday night so it was quiet which was great. And the food was to die for! We ordered The Common Burger and omg yum!

Awesome family friendly local place. Always has a lively buzzing atmosphere. Good music and footie on. Good kids playground and the staff are really friendly. The food is awesome. Loads if really good dishes and options. Mexican food is beautiful. We had the lamb burrito and some of the tacos and they were all delicious. We'll be back. Thanks

The tuna poke Nachos was something out of this world an amazing well balanced meal i could have easily eaten two of them. The deserts were amazing as well.

My wife and I were staying in Yallingup for our honeymoon and decided to come here as they were one of the few places open semi-late. The staff and food were amazing, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The fish tacos were the star of the show and as you can see we almost didn’t get a picture of them as I tried to eat them straight away.

Just down the road from the restaurant is a great spot to see the beach as well so this is a must try place in my opinion.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! Recently, I accidentally lost my bag, which contained my passport. Fortunately, the manager, Tony, went above and beyond during his off-hours to assist me, and thanks to him, I was able to retrieve my belongings. I'm extremely grateful for his help!

Not only was the service exceptional, but the food was also delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant for another dining experience in the future. Thank you again to Tony and the entire staff for their outstanding hospitality!

Came for an early dinner before it got too busy. Staff were gorgeous & the burger + fries super tasty. Great feel & vibe with the timber & black brick against light plastered walls studded with colourful local artworks. It feels light & bright enough for a hot summer day/night but also cosy (especially with the fireplace) in the cooler weather. The entrance has been set up with wire trellising that will look brilliant once the young plants have grown all over it. There's also a playground for the kids & a pool table. Definitely worth it!

Visited Margaret River region and caught up with a few clients in the area. Food was great. Portions are huge. Ordered a hamburger and chips. More than enough food for one person. All the meals I saw that was served looked good and all plates was returned empty to the kitchen.

Beer was cold and staff was friendly. I can recommend them with ease as the food was great. Atmosphere was vibrant and music playing. Could sit inside or outside. Happy hour is between 5pm and 6pm.

The food was surprisingly good. The corn cob entree is to be recommended. Yet, what really stood out was the excellent staff. They are obviously well trained and coordinated, friendly, efficient and seemed to be happy to work there.

Popped in for a feed whilst we were staying in the area and never before have I been defeated by a burger. These are huge and so so tasty, I was so sad to not be able to finish it. My partner can eat a lot of food and be ordered an extra patty with his burger and even he admitted that he could have done without the second patty. Highly recommend though, the burgers are great and very generously sized - make sure you’re hungry!

We went for 3 night in a row on a recent trip with a large family and everything was so good - not a bad meal had, amazing drinks (especially the margaritas) and service was impeccable (especially daisy who went out her way to accomodate us and was there with a smile night after night!). Will definitely be back when we visit again.

Stayed near here while in Margaret River, went for two nights because it was easy to walk. Food was delicious, staff were friendly, and atmosphere was different each night but equally as fun. Burger Night is popping and they had live music the following evening. Love the Tshirt with directions to the bathroom. put the door to the right! So clever! Overall wonderful vibe! Got my husband a Tshirt so we can remember one of the favorites.

What a delicious meal! We had a burger, pizza and the fish and chips and everything was amazing value for money and very tasty. The service was so friendly and even our dog was greeted with a smile and a pat! Thank you to our beautiful waitress with her golden Labrador! We will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone we know!

Very busy pub which isn’t always a bad thing. It was so loud we weren’t able to have a conversation without yelling at one another. However there is a surfing competition in town so I understand that.
Can not fault the food, it was delicious and very reasonably priced and we only waited 30mins considering how busy it was. Kudo’s to you staff 👏

Our family came down and had dinner for my daughters 18th outstanding service, amazing food excellent entertainment. Could not fault made us feel welcome the staff came out and sang happy birthday 🎂 thank you to all the staff and management and the common 🤙🌟🌟

Straight gastropub menu (tacos, pizza, pasta) but good food, portions are generous, dishes was delivered amazingly fast. Open until 8pm so the only place for miles serving late dinner. Oh and ladies netball on the telly!

We have just stumbled onto a Gem - the food was fabulous- a common salad was beautiful- nothing common about it - pizza was tasty and I am not a pizza person but for this I will have be coming back for another - you would have to be crazy to drive past this place if you where hungry- good beers on tap - i loved the ginger beer 🍺 coming back - make space for us. By the way if you have kids there is a playground that will keep them busy while you relax

Delicious food and great service. It is a nice and clean venue. Would definitely come again when in the area. Lots of vego options too - I had the pork belly salad but instead of pork it was substituted for fried tofu. We had the baked brie as an entree which was yummy

We had a pretty chaotic big crew of kids and adults, and the staff were super helpful and nice. Such a great spot.
