Spoke to a lovely lady who helped us plan the Gibb in late September/early October, including an up-to-date closures sheet as the season began drawing to a close.

Beautiful and full of art, many souvenirs can be purchased, as well as provide a lot of information, if you collect commemorative coins there are on the side there, the staff are very friendly, people relaxed places to visit, a successful information station provides what I need.

Great staff.
Went back the next 3 days to get a map and some post cards but no one had turned up for work so it was closed

Lovely service, excellent help with all questions we had about the Gibb River Road. Free unlimited fast customer wifi. Air-conditioning and seating area inside. Password protected, just need to pop in and ask for password.

The Derby Visitor Centre has the most informative staff with the best greetings when you come through the door. The building is unique, having the old support beams from the old jetty on display as well as having some important artifacts of history about the Kimberley throughout the building.

Free WIFI, places to sit inside with aircorn with places to charge your phones or laptops.

You can book tours for all throughout the Kimberley from this Visitor Centre, from scenic flights from multiple companies in helicopter and seplanes, to the Horizontal Falls trips, charter boat tours, campgrounds, gorge tours and way more.

The staff are very helpful with creating great holiday journeys, you can give them a call or you can book many tours through their website.

10/10 would recommend stopping through Derby. Good stop to start the adventure, and great fishing and crabbing in the areas.

There is nothing about Derby that the staff at the center don't know. If you are travelling around the West Kimberley call in to the Derby Tourist Centre as they may give a few additional hints on what to do and see, an may even make it easier for you to get there. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable so don't be shy !!!

One of the best Tourist info centres I have been to. The lady there that day was fantastic and gave us all the correct and up to date information. We were one of the first vehicles to head across the Gibb river road for this year, as it only just opened after the wet season. You must visit this place as the information and help is great, plus Derby has some history , you dont hear about.

Lovely welcoming and friendly town with many wonderful attractions. Spent a lovely relaxed three nights here enjoying the Boab Festival which included the inspiring and spectacular Mowanjum festival, the Country and Western Night at the Spinifex Hotel and a magical tour of the Horizontal Falls. Lots of history in Derby and the sunset at the jetty is beautiful; one of the best you will see anywhere. The small Saturday Markets with live entertainment is interesting with a nice vibe where we danced on the grass! Loved our time here. Thank you Derby.
