Best bagel + coffee spot in the city.

I love a good bagel, and coming from someone who’s just had a new bagel place open under his office - I would walk here to get one of their bagels, they’re that good. They also have nitro cold brew which is another summer essential. Pictured below is the pulled pork bagel.

One suggestion to the food and marketing manager: please do a breakfast bagel (similar to your breakfast brioche) and market your bagels! The demand is really picking up around the city and I had to hunt through photos on Google to find a place that did them well - serious potential here!

Good friend of mine recommended the place for our Friday morning coffee. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of bagel and not to mention nitro cold brew. Chicken bagel was top notch and the atmosphere and staff were great!

Five stars for bagels, coffee and service. This is a small shop located in between buildings. Open, shady and breezy, with seating available.
Service was very fast and organized given there was a long long line (less than 5 min wait). Kudos for that!
Bagels (plain with jalapeno cream cheese and rosemary with plain cream cheese) were absolutely heavenly. I should say, I did not have a proper bagel in Australia since my move 5 years ago. Playa Coffee changed this.
I also tried a plain croissant. Or rather tried to try... This is a thing in AU, they smash croissant, please don't do that AU, please. I could take couple bites than it turned into rawhide... So if you want croissant, tell them how you want it.
Coffee was also amazing.
I will absolutely go back, again, again and again.

Fantastic rye bagel. Super fresh, full of flavour and toasted perfectly. The coffee was great too and the staff were incredibly friendly. Lovely buzzy atmosphere, not too busy and an ideal CBD location too. Would definitely recommend!

Player coffee has been my go to spot ever since I first tried it out. From the friendly staff and the extremely efficient service, I could not speak more highly about this place. Every time I go the energy is always high and the staff are always smiling. If you haven’t been yet what the hell are you bloody doing.

Funky cafe where we can watch NBA all the time! Their Bagel & Brew (large coffee) deal for $10 was great option for me to have a bite with a long macchiato. I enjoyed my coffee time in a very bright place with natural sun light (not a direct light). Their open area is covered with glass ceiling so this will be good for a quick coffee meeting, rain or shine :)

Found out about the place from word of mouth as the best coffee in Perth CBD..can say this is absolutely bang on the money. Great service and always remember their customers.

Great coffee and a good spot to get some work done. Can get super busy but the coffee is pumped out fast so you don’t have to wait too long.

Great stop for lunch, service was quick and friendly. The $10 coffee and bagel deal is good value. The coffee was very smooth, the bagels were delicious with great texture and had the right amount of filling.

Consistently great coffee and the most lovely staff/owner that make the effort to get to know you by name. Their prices are very reasonable. I love the blueberry bagel with bacon maple spread. They just make my mornings and even if they were more pricey, I'd be happy to pay knowing that it is going to pay such great staff and the much deserving owner.

I feel my life was unfullfilled until I discovered the magic of bagels and Playa Coffee. Do yourself a favour a try the pizza bagel and coffee combo for $10. Barely a wait and plenty of open well ventilated area to sit back, relax and chill.
Can be hard to find, but look for the steps from William Street with the forest/bird mural, and you'll be right there

I went because of their great reviews and they definitely lived up to it! Delicious variety of bagels with cream cheese. Service was with a smile and welcoming.
