LIBA'S Authentic African Cuisine

Love the Fish but they always forget to add the sauce, Each time, I placed an order or take away. The Fish is very nice with Chilled Nigeria Malta. I do place an order for large Events and they always deliever.

Very good dining experience have also picked up our food aswell enjoyed all the dishes the rice and fried fish !!! and left overs for the next day ! I highly recommend!

First time trying Fufu after watching so many mouthwatering videos about this food. Love it so much! We ordered 2 doughnuts but they were so kind to give us an extra piece! I have no complaints at all, food is tasty and affordable. We’ll be back.

If you're on the hunt for the best African cuisine in Perth, look no further (though technically, you can't much further than Thornlie). The restaurant in inside the shopping centre, opposite the Woolworths.

Liba's love and care really come through in the food. Every dish is tasty and full of flavour. The texture of the fufu is perfect, as is the spice level of the soup. Best jollof in town.
Make sure you get some plantain and puff puff to take home.
The portions are MASSIVE and the prices very wallet friendly. We had plenty left over for lunch the next day.

Food was absolutely delicious have never tried African cuisine but heard so many good things about this place and wanted to give it a try and man was I glad to be able to try their food, front of house was so kind and patient with us and the food was still hot when we got home well worth the hour drive to get our fix for the night absolutely delicious highly recommend this place if you want to try out delicious African cuisine, will definitely be visiting again soon thank you so much for your service x

We came here yesterday evening to try out some West African food. The portions were really big and tasty. This is our first time eating West African food and was surprised at how tasty everything was. Owner was very friendly aswell. We ordered the Chicken and Jollof rice and Fufu with Lamb stew

The only constructive criticism I can say is. The menu needs a bigger photo and a small description on what it is. As both of us are new to the cuisine we didn't know what to expect except for the stews and chicken and rice.

Menu items like t.z , banku waakiye we don't know what it is and would like to try it a small caption describing what meat spices etc or how its cooked and whats in it will help with people who are very unfamiliar with this type of cuisine.

Liba and her team are absolutely exceptional! We hired her to cater for x3 of our company Christmas parties (where we expected more than 60+ people) and she was absolutely AMAZING! I could not recommend her more enough :).

We had her:
- Tilapia fish,
- Fried chicken,
- Lamb stew,
- Jollof rice,
- Ugali (salza),
- Vegetable sause &
- Chilli sauce (shito)

... and everyone adored the food! We had no idea what to order for our cohort- so after consulting Liba- she provided the best recommendations that worked so well in our favour! (She really knows what she is doing).

Not only was she very punctual on the day, but she was so well organised and had the food ready to serve at the exact time we asked (and it tasted like it was cooked fresh right there on the spot). The food was delicious and we had SO many people ask if we could have her cater for our events more often. The quality of her food and her customer servicing skills are just impeccable!

I couldn't recommend her more enough !

Have picked up takeaway after work a few times now at Libas for myself or to have with my two teenagers and delivery tonight. So far have tried Jollof, Fried chicken, Bean stew, Meat with Agasi (palava)and puff puff. So much flavour in each dish without being overly spicy. Liba has always been happy to explain what was in each dish as I'd never tried West African food before. Hard to pick a favourite but the bean stew and meat with agasi are top of my list. Love that the puff puff had a delicate flavour without all the sugar that regular donuts have.

What can I say such a beautiful experience. Delicious food and the service was amazing. Highly recommend if you haven't seen yet do yourself a favour and try it out. Well priced and very welcoming staff. Loved the jolof with fried chicken yummy. I'll be back.

The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Definitely fed the cravings...will return for sure

first off i ordered for pick up and was 10 minutes late because i didn’t realise how fast it would be ready, took about 12 minutes. when i got there i was super apologetic and the owner was incredibly nice and reassuring that it was okay.
i was surprised by the fact nobody was in there!

i rushed to my car just to try one of the puff puffs and it was amazing!! so fresh and fluffy but sweet, nothing like aus/us donuts but i’d say these were better, as they aren’t doused in sugar. the bag was heavy and there was a very good portion for only $30!

i ordered the light stew with meat and that came with a serving of fufu. it had so much flavour and the meat was cooked to perfection. it was very mildly spicy and if you’re extremely sensitive to spice i would ask one of the kind staff for their recommendations!

i would highly recommend you at least try their food, i will be going back there definitely! thankyou Liba’s 💓

That chicken was tantalising, and that jollof rice was amazing. only downside was that the chicken was a bit dry from being in the heat too long

My partner and I just had some of the best food we have ever eaten! Not only that the customer service was amazing and as first timers we were given all our options.. The fufu and light soup and bean stew was to die for! You got to try it guys xx we will definitely be back

Asked for a recommendation, was told the chicken was a must have.
Got home, had one bite and realised what an understatement that was.
Best roast chicken of my life, seasoning was fantastic and cooked perfectly.
Can't wait for the next recommendation!

LIBA’S is a 45 min drive from me. DEFINITELY WORTH IT!
Everything is delicious and FULL of flavor.

Never tried much African food prior to Liba's. You could imagine my excitement when I found out about this place. We absolutely adored the jollof rice and fried plantains here!

Just tried this today and absolutely loved it. The people are so lovely and the chef came out and gave us our order full of apologies as we waited a little because she was having trouble with the wok. We got a free drink and extra chicken which she did not have to do. Gorgeous food and excellent service.

Great food, had the fufu and soup and chicken jollof. Chicken was the best I've ever had. The owner even gave us some free plantains for our baby. Great service 👌

Just had food delivered by Ubereats, i got the jolllof rice and the chicken. Chicken was juicy and delicious! the rice reminded me of my mother’s cooking, it’s very homey and delicious.
