We stayed at the Poolside Pod. Absolutely stunning location! Visited by emus in the morning, checking out the glorious beach, coastal vegetation and rock pools by evening, and a stunning vista before you at all times. On clear days you can see Kangaroo and Althorpe Island, beautiful stars at night, and the sight of the AI lighthouse blinking in the distance. Sheer bliss. Amenities are extremely clean - comfy beds and couch, pillows that weren’t an afterthought, the cleanest eco-toilet we’ve ever had, well-stocked kitchen with utensils and crockery. Marion Bay and the national park a stone’s throw away. Just glorious - we were honestly speechless for the first 5 minutes. Some of the amenities are a little dated, but perhaps this is to be expected in a remote location. We loved every minute of our stay!

Camping at the Annie's camp: great view and we were alone.
The shower near the office was good during the evening, but during the day there is too many flies in it, it could be unpractical.

Easily accessible from the highway. We booked online and arrived late in the afternoon, the lovely staff had a map, bins and key code information in an envelope waiting for us. Ability to also rock up without booking! Camp sites flat & spacious. Great clean facilities with hot showers!!!! Absolutely loved our stay.

Such a great place to stay. Long drop toilets are very very clean as is the entire camp ground. Having the shop at the entrance is very handy and the staff were really helpful when we needed some helo.

When luck is on your side.
Weather was perfect and the fishing good .
First camping / fishing trip at Hillocks Drive, and not the last.

This campground is awesome! Really feels like you're doing camping properly with beautiful unpowered sites that have magnificent views across the ocean. Good amount of amenities, and well priced. You can charge up things at the toilet block if you need, and will probably need a 4x4 to access. So glad we went here rather than somewhere further into Marion Bay.

Awesome views.
One of South Australia's most amazing rock pools 👌
Great camp spot at Coffin Bay beach, neighbouring Annie's Nursery/the iconic rock pool.
Hike to get down too, be careful - particularly with children. Slippery rocks.

Fantastic camp ground. We stayed in the saw tooth rocks camp and had a great time. Had our own beach and rocks pools to explore and a private campsite. The road into our camp was fairly sandy and required a 4x4 but the sedans just parked out the front and walked in. My only criticism would be the lack of amenities down towards our camp but on the other hand, it really feels like you are camping out bush. We will be back!

Great little stay. Called in the late afternoon and were able to set up camp in Golden Orb later that night. Signage was done very well and made it easy to find the site. The map provided was a little confusing to figure out but we found our site eventually. Pam was very helpful and friendly.

My wife and I had the most relaxing time ever. Had a beach section to ourselves as it is late January with no school kids. The views and beaches were amazing. Spent time in a rock pool all in walking distance from our motorhome. Lots of options for campers. This is one of SA best kept secret places to visit in York Peninsula. Lots of fishermen. Clean toilets. Will be back.

Great staff and a wonderful location for mainly self contained camping. This is a farm with spreadout coastal campsites of varying sizes. Some BBQ shelters and shared newish longdrop toilets at intervals near the camping areas. I particularly like the low tree camping nooks behind the large dunes giving some protection from the open ocean and cliffs on the other side. There are hot showers back at the farm office entrance but a 5-15 min drive from the camp's. The self contained Ecohut accommodation looks great but haven't stayed in one of those yet...perhaps next time!

The perfect opportunity for those who aren't setup for towing a caravan into the middle of nowhere. Absolutely stunning views.
If you want to see the best of SA, without the tent, this is worth it.
I'll definitely be back.

I love this place. Incredibly underrated. Stunning views, peaceful & quiet, pristine grounds and toilets. Camped in a tent for a night but will definitely be back for longer stays and will be trying their eco-friendly ocean pods.

One of the greatest camping experiences in South Australia: stupendous location, excellent base for further exploration, and most helpful and friendly staff - may we have many more opportunities to visit again, so very much worth the drive from distant Melbourne!

One of the greatest, if not the greatest, experience in South Australia: astounding location with a lot to see around. Our trip was not planned very well, and stumbling upon this camp was like winning the lottery!
