Such a cute place in Derby town! The coffees were great and it’s a lovely spot for brekky and dinner too. Everything was tasty, service was friendly and fast and the space is great. Must try!

Best big breakfast I've ever had served by friendly staff. Unprompted, they even brought out a bowl of water for our two doggie companions. From what I could see, the kitchen was spotless.

Food, service and atmosphere was wonderful.

Nice little niche resturaunt for dinner in derby, small menu but all sounds tasty, well presented, cocktails and wine very nice.

We went to neaps for dinner last night and enjoyed every part of it. The manager who was on, Amy, was absolutely great even with new staff on to manage, the cocktails that Lea made were also amazing as well as the food, it hit all the right spots! Definitely recommend

Great breakfast, lovely setting great staff.

I chose the steak and vegetables from the small but delicious-sounding menu. It was cooked just the way I like it, and the veggies were perfect. The gravy was okay but I’d probably do without next time. All in all, a lovely meal eaten on the deck on a balmy night, washed down with a nice glass of red.

Amazing food, amazing manager !

Came in with a table of 10. Meals came out promptly and together. Had the steak, cooked med rare as asked. Came with pepper sauce which was very nice, proper whole peppercorns and enough for the whole steak but not drowning the plate. Potato mash was awesome
Wife had the eggplant parmigiana and loved it.
The new chef was keen yo come out for a chat and very friendly.
Front of house staff were also great.
Had a lovely night.

Beautiful meal shared with family. Restaurant was quiet and the whole evening was very relaxing and enjoyable. Food was well prepared, well presented and arrived to the table promptly.

Service was excellent. Staff very friendly and accomodating. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Will definitely come back

Had a very nice breakfast of bacon and scrambled eggs on sourdough toast washed down with coffee. Sat outside in the dog friendly area.
The staff were great - very friendly and cheerful.
Plenty of seats available inside if it is hot or the bugs get annoying.

Latte’s were a real treat well made full flavour
The mushroom mix with breakfast was so tasty highly recommend. The poached eggs cooked perfectly
We went back for dinner the steak was cooked beautifully fresh tasty sides was very good My husband had the seafood marinara was a disappointment The sauce was thick and gluggy he couldn’t eat too much of it but he said the crepe dessert made up for it was very delicious with the fruit etc. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable Highly recommended this place just don’t have the marinara Everything else was fantastic

I’ve been living in derby for just 6 months (work and travel) and we’ve been many times at Neaps Bistro. We always enjoyed the nice food, good service and the fun nights (karaoke). Thanks for being part of my year abroad.

Very happy!! Entrees and mains were great. The atmosphere was so lovely and the staff are so attentive and friendly. We brought our dog and his water and the staff even refilled his water. So glad we decided eat here than the Spinifex.

Food was tasty, well presented and quick to come to the table. The staff are outstanding, they make you feel at home and keen to be at your service

Good cooks! very good food! very good service! they have a passion to make sure you were happy! unlike the opposition across the road who can’t even take a booking or get the orders right
