I live in Brisbane, & the only stock remaining of this piece was in Perth, & I needed it within a week.
The Joondalup store wasn't interested in helping me, then I called the Midland Gate store & spoke with Penny. What a difference !!
She went out of her way to facilitate a bank transfer with the parent company, then, in I suspect her lunch break, took it to the Post office & sent it in an express satchel.
What above & beyond 5 star service !
I am so appreciative of her commitment to customer service & satisfaction, as she could have just fobbed me off as others did.
You just don't get that personal service anywhere anymore.

I received such wonderful customer service from Jasmine and Lee. Both are new Christmas Casuals and they were extremely friendly and helpful in finding exactly what I was after. They were so bubbly and kind, unlike some of the other staff in the store. You must keep them on after Christmas, they were just incredible!

Kylie made such an effort to help me with finding exactly what I wanted , absolutely fabulous service . She took time with me , explaining everything , answering my million questions and showing me a number of pieces before I finally decided . Thank you, I will be back!

I visited this store yesterday(7/10), with my daughter to buy her a ring for her high school graduation(this was the 9th store we'd gone to). The service we received from Trish and the other lady, was absolutely outstanding. They were so helpful, and patient, as my daughter had little idea of what she wanted, but knew what she didn't want. We found two that she liked, but as she still wasn't sure, we left to have lunch, and think about it. Trish said if you do decide you want either, i'll give you a good deal. Well we did return soon after, and Trish did give us a good deal, on a gorgeous ring, plus a "lifetime care plan." I'm actually tempted to return, and get one for myself!

Phenomenal customer service by the team, the manager gave me a great deal on my new watch and even kept the shop open past closing time to ensure that the watch fit my wrist properly. Will be sure to shop here again.

I was served by Trish the manager at midland shiels, and I have to say awesome service! I was looking for a particular watch for my sisters birthday which unfortunately they didn't have on hand. She took the time to search for a store that does and had it organised for me to collected at another store closer to me. She didn't have to do that as there is nothing in it for them, but the care factor was. Now she may have not gained a sale that day for her store in specifically, however the fact she went out of her way to help find a solution for me has now gained her and the midland store a customer experience that would cause me to return there and purchase for sure! So thank you again Trish, a great example to your staff and an asset to your branch and company.

Staff and products were amazing, especially Damien. He went above and beyond to help me pick a engagement ring for my partner and it was perfect. Were also really helpful in getting it resized for her. Will definitely be back to see him and his exceptional customer service.

The team were very helpful but returned today for my second time to Damian. He is an incredible problem fixer of purchases from other stores that were not quite right.
Did also then purchase 2 more products that I had not walked in for but am extremely happy with them.
Highly recommend him and the team at Miand gate.

Make sure you see Trish the store manager who is in my opinion can teach Telstra about customer service.

I went into shiels midland store over a year ago to purchase a wedding set as I needed a new one .Damien went above and beyond to help us find a set that could be sized as my fingers are very small .so this year I went back and Damien ordered a ring for my set for my 10 year anniversary and it's perfect .he went through alot to help me and now I won't go anywhere else or deal with anyone else except him .thanks so much. Very happy customer

I made a purchase at Shiels in Midland yesterday. The service I received from Damien was outstanding. It is very rare that one receives this level of service in Australia, even within premium retail, let alone a chain store in an urban shopping centre. After spending time with Damien, I made the choice to spend a little more by purchasing in-store as opposed to on-line; and given I was purchasing a Casio wrist watch, it was easy to compare "apples with apples". If only more retail owners and workers made the decision to provide the sort of service that Damien demonstrated, perhaps retail would not be in as dire a situation as it is in this country.

13/5/21 Given my previously excellent experience, I returned on somewhat of a whim today to purchase something shiny. Damien again assisted me in a professional way. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, more service industries should follow Damien's excellent example. Thank you Damien.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Damian was exceptional. He made our experience so easy and he was so very helpful and understanding to our needs. I would recommend going to Shiels Midland. That's where I will only shop from now on.

if you want good ole fashioned customer service and good price matching of a certain item that tickles your fancy i highly recommend this store ... dealt with customer sales rep damian and he did a bloody brillant job of salesmanship for myself in regards to the purchase of my watch ... no pushy sales service just honest demonstration of the product and price matched ... couldnt be happier with the level or service provided to myself
