Lakelands Fish & Chips

We buy regularly from Lakelands Fish and chips..I hate cooking chips at home so love to be able to feed our very large family with fresh and tasty chips for only $12. Good portion sizes for a side dish as I always do something to go with the chips and have left overs

Great potato cakes. The cake was covered with a whispey batter that rippled and spiked across this morsel, offering a gentle crunch, while folding and breaking under the weight and size of the cake. This featured a thin, single slice of fluffy potato, not soaked in oil but well cooked enough to fall apart in my mouth

They’ve only just opened (June 2019) so they’re still finding their feet at the moment. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The fish was freshly cooked and tasty. They’re still adding to the menu (curry sauce is on its way apparently), but overall a very good experience thus far.

The best fish and chips I've had. The fish and chips cooked the way I like it. The dim sims non battered cooked to perfection. The two women there are just great at cooking to your tastes. Point is its hot non greasy when you get your order home.

We ordered Hake, Chips, Crab Sticks and Dim Sims.
The Fish was mouth watering, the chips were so fresh and the kids didn't complain about there crab sticks! 😋 Dim Sims were also fresh and tasty. It was the perfect proportion for our family.

We always order fish and chips here locally, as its just down the road from us and sometimes just saying "Thank You" can really make someones day. 👍🐟 🍟 😁

Im not from the area, and found you guy's from Googling, Pity you don't have a correct address. My 92yr old Father hadn't eaten Fish n Chips for about 20years. We ordered Shnapper, Squid rings, crab sticks and chips. EVERYTHING WAS COOKED PERFECTLY....very little greasiness and excess oil...
My only other suggestion, order another chip fryer, to keep the Chips up with the orders.
But otherwise a great overall experience. THANKYOU

Friendly staff and good tasty food that is not greasy, and glad we have a fish and chips place that's close by that's more than half decent... even impressed by the cook using a themometre to check if inside of the chico roll was done, good luck with your future business here :)

We ordered a junior meal fish and chips a few times love it, it's nice and crispy. Meal was a good size serving for myself. I would highly recommend this store

I have no idea why there are negative reviews on here. Our meal couldn’t have been better. We had snapper, shark, squid rings, chips and pineapple fritters. It was all cooked fresh and was absolutely yummy!!! Servings we very generous so it was great value for money! Best fish and chips we have had in ages!

My man went here and came home with the best seafood baskets. Great food reasonably priced. We also had the battered sausages they were cranski ones, nice but wished they were fat plain beef ones. Thank you will have it again soon

The best chips and gravy on the west coast, only $5 and the gravy is thick and they put on heaps which I LOVE. Plus only $2.50 for a can of drink, so $7.50 for a cheap and yummy dinner!

Good clean shop, good size quantity of chips and nice fish. Will be going back.

Best fish and chips in years. Chilli mussels great too, not too hot.

The guys here are great. Food is always freshly prepared and cooked, nice size portions and fair price. Almost a bit too handy being so close lol

Had four generous pieces of Hake and chips as take away.....good portions of fish and also chips at a very reasonable price.....will be back.
