As far as accessible lookouts go this one is really awesome, it’s only a very short drive from the lake argyle resort. You’ll get Fantastic views of lake argyle and those famous folded Kimberley mountains. You also get a good look over the dam wall and down the Ord river.

We have been at Lake Argyle for 3 days and the views still take my breath away!
From early morning to sunset the light changes the colours of the rock, sky and water. Tempting to take another photo but this time I’m just going take it all in.

After a 30 minute detour from the main highway this place seemed like an oasis in the desert! It’s worth visiting for the spectacular views. You can swim in a few areas I was very sceptical of this and personally it seemed a hostile environment, too dangerous and I wouldn’t recommend. For above water fun though including kayaking what a wonderful place!

It's a beautiful place and worth come to see.
Although you need to drive half hour to arrive here from highway.
Once you see the view, you will feel it's worth.

This is an easy lookout to get to, you can walk from the caravan park or drive. We watched the sunset here with some dinner to see the different colours that reflect off the mountains, it was great and it makes you overlook the dam wall.
