Great service, even better food! Had the cuttlefish salad, cockles kway teow, lemongrass tea and corn drink.

Had cockles at every bite! Kept eating the cuttlefish and there was still cuttlefish towards the end of the salad! Amazing serving size. Very generous.

Authentic Malaysian food! Asked for the noodles to be spicy and spicy it was! Love it. Even the drinks was amazing too.
The corn drink I ordered was tasteless at first, all watered down. Informed the uncle at the counter and he immediately took it back and gave me a new one which tasted the way it’s supposed to be and it was good!

Amazing service from the moment we came in till we left. Will 100% come back to Santai2! I even got a loyalty card where I can get a free meal after 6 visits!

Beautiful service served with beautiful food (large portions for a great price! - family of 4 spent about $60-$70 for 4x mains & 2 sides) First time going there & can happily say my family & I left with a smile and a full stomach😊 Compliments to the Chef, Owner and our Server for the evening. It was perfect!

A tidy and clean restaurant with nice ambiance. It did feel like we were overseas. The owner was friendly and happy to accommodate our requests. We ordered chicken satay and fried kwey teow. Food was good. Portion and price were good. Clean and neutral taste. There was a little delay between time of order and when the food was served, but nothing major. Happy to recommend and visit again to try different food on their menu.

Wanted to eat Mee Rebus this morning and found Santai Cafe near us with 4.3-star review. The service is top notch starting with a prompt reply to reservation, and then a warm welcome upon arriving. The atmosphere is cosy and pleasant with a few private cubicles. The food is nice and the price is reasonable. We love the Mee Rebus, Lontong and Roti Canai. Would recommend a visit.

I came here with a large group of friends for a birthday. We all pre ordered our foods as we were told they were short staffed. The food came out quickly and was hot. Quite authentic Malaysian food with good prices. I really wanted to order a special drink that was on the menu when I arrived but I couldn't get a clear explanation from the server (owner I think) what drink was what so I decided against it and settled on a coke. It was nice and clean and good ambience. The owner was very accommodating and tried to help us move tables and chairs. Very friendly. I probably wouldn't be back, but I definitely enjoyed the food I ordered.

Surprisingly good. Far exceeded my expectation. Small restaurant serving delicious Malaysian food. One of the best Mee Rebus in Perth. Nasi Lemak is top notch too. Friendly service. Great, relaxed ambience. Indoor seatings only. Order and pay at counter. No credit card surcharge.

We ordered the mee rebus, nasi lemak and roti canai. All were delicious. Staff are friendly and love the private booths (a more intimate dining experience).

Very nice food with reasonable price, the owner is very friendly as well.
Highly recommend their fried kuey teow and the nasi lemak.
We have the three layer pandan tea which is super rich! As a Malaysian, you should know what I mean!

Found this place on google and the chicken satay skewers sticks had me. Came to dinner with my sister and the service was impeccable the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back here !

very newly opened, and still in some kind of "promotional phase" .. so will have to drop by again some time after to give another review. but what we've tried so far was really good in taste quality. and the Nescafe was really really well done! owner was very friendly too, and likewise their overall service was pretty good.

Unassuming family restaurant on the far end of East Victoria Park. Beautiful genuine service and food to bring you back to that Asia bagus flavour. Beef Murtabak was more an entree serving but wholesome. The skin was slightly mushy but the filling was perfect. Thoughtfully served with acar with care. Chicken satay had some skin on it which we would prefer not to have but tasted amazing. The flavour i grew up with. Peanut sauce went beautifully with the ketupat/lontong (depending if you’re Malaysian or Indonesian) along with carefully sliced red onions. We also ordered an ice kacang their ABC dessert. Had the usual authentic burst of savoury from the corn and sweet from the red beans, jelly and syrup, topped off with a single scoop of ice cream. Thank you for a beautiful experience, we really enjoyed it.

Outstanding Malaysian food. Fairly quiet on a Sunday night with only 2 other tables so the food & drinks ( 3 layer pandan tea, iced teh tarik, milo dinosaur, iced tea) came out very quickly. Vego kuey teow, Nasi Lemak with prawn sambal, chicken paprik, beef satay, roti canai with dahl & curry. All fantastic. Will return

Brought our Turkish friends to try some Malaysian delicacies. Had nasi lemak with chicken rendang, beef satay, teh tarik, cendol and ABC. Generous portion and everything was perfectly prepared. Full of flavours and was honoured to meet the owner too. Thank you Santai2 Cafe!

Lovely Malaysian place with spacious seating. We shared a murtabak as an entree and also ordered a traditional nasi lemak and char kway teow. All very much to my taste and the teh tarik was one of the nicest that I've had in Perth. There's a 10% surcharge on weekends and public holidays (noted in the menu). Free parking in the car park behind the café, which can be accessed through a one-way lane (see last photo). I also really enjoyed the music - instrumental covers of classics! Will definitely return to sample some of the other dishes.

The food portion is humongus, worth every penny. Awesome hot teh tarik. KT kerang is phenomenal. Yong tau fu & its gravy, amazing. Satay is moist & very succulent. Truely 5-star from me.

Very authentic family owned malaysian restaurant. I had the nasi lemak with prawn sambal (YUM!!) and kway teow noodles as takeaway - both were suppperrr delicious. Best teh tarik also! Highly recommend to check this place out. The decor is stunning also.

I don’t usually leave a review on google maps but I feel like I must write one about this restaurant. We had fried kuew tiaw, nasi lemak with fried chicken and lamb satay. They were all above standard and taste soooo good especially the lamb satay, my partner and I love it! The atmosphere here makes me feel like I was dining in Bali. Definitely recommend it and I believe we will have our second visit very soon.

First time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint at all. The food was great and so was the service. The owner was friendly and fantastic accommodating us. We had the chicken and beef satay with also nasi goreng kampong and the food was delicious. Best satay I have had for a very long time. Will definitely be back and will highly recommend this restaurant.

We have been to Santai2 twice before and lastnight we ordered nasilemak bungkus and mini murtabak ayam for our house party.

Although both options weren't in their menu , but Uncle DB helped us to make it happen.

Both nasi lemak and murtabak ayam were the crowd's favourite.

Most importantly their communication and service, top class.

Have recommended few of friends.
