RACV Goldfields Resort

Lovely building. Bedroom was really nice. The restaurant is great; the buffet breakfast has everything and lots of options. We had a dinner also which was very gourmet and professional. Swimming Pool and Gym were clean and in great order. The location of the resort is great, very close to Creswick Town and surrounding towns. Staff were very welcoming and professional.

Generally brilliant. Clean, in good condition and good service. Nice country town, loads of places to visit by car. Has kids facilities and a golf course. Food was good, but a bit exe$. Strange entries to pool and gym and main restaurant. Car park could use some exit direction signs

Staff were lovely, from the golf shop to the waiters, they were polite and happy. The room was clean (shout out to cleaners), bright and spacious. It was lovely and quiet in the evenings making easy to sleep (although aircon was a bit noisy). Facilities are great, already planning our return visit.)

We just stayed at RACV Goldfields after booking the epicurean escape special via an RACV email. From the moment I called up to book it the staff have been beyond accommodating. They booked my extended family in rooms close by but due to a mishap one family member was at the other end of the building. They quickly moved them into another room close by (a much fancier room than we had booked). They also included the kids breakfast for us both days with no additional charge.

Golf and a cart was included with the deal. Again, everyone we dealt with was very friendly and helpful (some of us had never golfed before).

The rooms are lovely, modern, comfortable and clean. I asked for a place to do some work stuff quietly - they gave me a private office to work out of.

The kids (aged 2 and 4) loved the heated pool, games room and playground. Even the little waterfall outside the restaurant kept them occupied for ages.

The deal we had was such great value but it’s the staff and their helpfulness that’s the main reason we’ll be back for for sure. Thank you RACV Goldfields.

A last-minute decision to go.
Easy over the phone booking and arrived 3 hours later to a very warm welcome.
Room was very clean and spacious with a balcony.
The bar and light food was good value. Buffet breakfast had a huge variety and included in the price. Dinner on Saturday night also included (2 course).
Great value at $449 for 2 nights, breakfast on each day, and dinner plus a bottle of bubbles.
Close to a number of options including Ballarat

We had a wonderful time at the resort. So many activities for the kids, the room was clean and all the staff were super friendly! Shout out to Kristle, Crystal and Shelley. Amazing customer service! We are definitely coming back!

A fabulous overall experience. This was our second visit and it did not disappoint! Beautifully maintained golf course, beautifully prepared food, highly professional & friendly staff, very clean & well appointed rooms (stayed Premium Fairway Suite). Thank you for making our stay such an enjoyable & welcoming experience 5/5. We look forward to returning.

Great overall customer experience. Friendly and helpful staff, great views, beautiful food. We had drink vouchers ($10 per night) if we opted to go green.

Had an excellent weekend stay. Housekeeping are tremendous, huge thanks to Cicil? who helped us out after accidentally getting the floor wet. Highly recommend if you are doing things in Ballarat but want to stay outside and enjoy the natural surrounds in mornings and evenings. Just wish the pool was open later than 9pm.

I had a great weekend there with my family and would highly recommend this resort. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast buffet is totally worth the money but I would not waste my belly realestate at the restaurant at the top floor, it's not bad it's just that there are much better options at the town near by and specially in Ballarat.

Loved our mini-break at Goldfields Resort. Lovely spacious room (except for shower recess;), balcony overlooking golf course. Had a round of golf and also used the tennis courts (2). Perfect little room for toddlers to play in, as well as an interesting Art House.

Ate at restaurant for b/fast & dinner both nights due to distance to other places. B/Fast was sufficient although lacking in cakes (stale if you get up too late), and not much variety in other areas either (cant order omelettes a la carte). On the bright side, our dinner was excellent - exceptional meat platter, etc. Plus having a FREE basic buffet for children was a bonus! (unsure if that was due to school hols or not?)

Spacious rooms, beautiful views, relaxed atmosphere, exceptional service. The heated pool and spa were delightful, and the games room kept everyone entertained. Loved the variety and freshness of the breakfast buffet.

Staff were fantastic and very accommodating for a last minute group booking.
Rooms were nice, both the restaurant and bar dining are very good.

I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone- from location, rooms, service, food and staff, everything was exceptional. We had an emergency during our stay there and the way whole staff responded with empathy, care and followed up with each one of us again and again (till we checked-out) was incredible. We are grateful to the entire staff who were working there last weekend. Each of the staff member was so compassionate, kind and we will never forget the support you provided in the most difficult time.

Good RACV resort in cress wick, near Ballarat. Not all rooms have good views as said on website and for decent price it misses on basic facilities in room. Overall resort is good and plenty do inside with kids and family.

We were warmly welcomed from the onset. Lovely ambience, exceptionally clean. We stayed in a Premium Fairway room with a lovely view. Felicity was the FOH Manager; she did everything in her power to make sure that we had a lovely stay and received value for our money.

Well where to start ? At the beginning is always good 😁.
From the time I booked a room at this resort to the time I left this morning at 10 a.m I have nothing but good things to say.
My wife and I stayed for a one night layover as part of our getaway to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and were just taken aback by the professionalism and fantastic attitude of all staff we encountered,from the girl on the front desk to the bar and restaurant staff. We did have a slight hiccup at dinner but that was put right swiftly and smoothly by , I assume , the HOD in charge. I wished I had of taken names so they could be recognised for making the one night a real highlight for my wife and I .
