We popped into the Creswick Country Bakery for lunch while we were passing thru. The staff were very happy and served us with a smile along with some friendly banter. The bakery is quite large and you can dine inside or out. You are also spoilt for choice; along with the normal bakery fare this store even has fried chicken and chips. For a change, the sun was out, and with a bit of warmth in it, so we sat outside to enjoy our meals and coffees. Everything was just excellent. We will return. Well done!!!

The staff are always friendly and the food i.e brunch, lunch, early dinner or just a quick stop for a Coffee and Cake is always delicious.
9 months on, the staff are still always friendly and the lunch is still delicious. Healthy and Fresh - even if the photo is taken after a sip or two of the Cappuccino Coffee! ☕ 🥪

Loved this spot on Easter Monday. It was one of The only places open in town and they were getting absolutely smashed. This did not stop the staff from being kind, helpful and efficient! The coffee was good, they had a vegetable pastIE for vegetarians and also offer DIY rolls and sandwiches. Cosy vibe too

Another gem in country Victoria. Stopped in for a snack and drink and wasn’t disappointed. Great selection of food that is fresh and beautifully presented. Service is pleasant and prompt. These are the places that make travelling country Victoria all worthwhile.

A really great sausage roll (five put of five) is available here. A sausage roll combined with cheese - genius - six out five score. Lots of baked goods are available, plus heaps of hot food as well. Eat in or take away, this bakery is really worth it!

STYLISH BAKERY IN CHARMING SMALL COUNTRY TOWN!
I stopped in this small town because it was so sweet, then I spied the bakery which stands out.
I'm so glad I went in as I bought a vanilla slice (I'm enjoying a road trip taste test of Victorian vanilla slices) and I splurged and bought the vanilla slice doughnut sitting next to it.
That was the revelation! While the slice was lovely, the doughnut was extraordinary! I wish I had one now.

Fabulous country bakery making superb food. Only problem was no freshly made country milkshakes or iced coffee.. only the normal packaged ones.

We were on the hunt of some country bakery pies and Creswick Country Bakery just delivered it so well! Pastries are flaky and crispy, fillings are great. Our favourite is their cheese sausage rolls - we had to order another one for the journey home!

This place is my slice of heaven on earth. I'll begin this review by stating that I have only visited Creswick once however have eaten from this bakery 3-4 times in that one trip. Let me paint a picture for you. Me and the plantation survivors had spent the last 16 hours going through hell. We only managed to narrowly escape the plantation with our lives. Immediately after coming into contact with society again we realised we were absolutely famished and needed somewhere to feed.

It was at this time that we came across the bakery. After scouring the street for the most gormful food we could potentially enjoy in the town of Creswick we found the Creswick Country Bakery. We set our heavy bags outside the door and locked up our bikes before venturing into the building. Immediately everyone stopped what they were doing and turned our way as the chatter died down. I walked up to the counter and ordered a ham and cheese toasty and immediately the noise picked up again. It was clear we were not the strangest people in this town.

After receiving my toasty me and the wolfpack went outside to enjoy our feed. The first bite into that toasty made me feel something I hadn't felt in the past 24 hours... hope. Glorious hope flowed through my body as I continued to chomp down on this sandwich. After the first one I couldn't stop myself... I was fiending. I ran inside reaching speeds I didn't think was possible and immediately ordered a second. I couldn't wait to tuck in again. I stood there watching the girl who was cooking up the storm I was about to put in my belly. I salivated and stared at the clock waiting and watching. When the employee finally finished the meal I almost grabbed it from her hand, akin to Golem reaching out for the One Ring. The second toasty was even better than the first and I wanted to go back for more.

I ate a total of 7 toasties that day and the only thing I regret was that I didn't eat more. I was single-handedly responsible for the shop running out of white bread that day and I'm proud of that fact. Every day I think of this bakery and wish to come back.
5/5 stars brilliant job, If you ever start a store in Melbourne I should be the first one you call.

Stopped here for some lunch today can't fault this bakery. Staff were lovely. Meat pies were absolutely delicious. Lamb and rosemary pie was one of the best pies I've ever had. We bought 6 pies to take home. Cherry ripe slice was divine glad we decided to spilt it though definitely don't need 1 to yourself.

Passing through and felt like a Sausage Roll on a cool 16 degree day. We bought a mini sausage roll first to see if we liked it. So yummy, we went back for a large one! 😋
