Creswick Market took me by surprise on just how beautiful is was. Set amongst the grounds of a church, quite a large number of stalls were sprinkled through the leafy grounds on a warm autumnal morning.
There was something for everyone here. Food, fresh produce, Knick knacks, crafts, handmade pickles and even a lovely stall selling products to support stray cats.
The market is wheelchair accessible and kid friendly. Good parking across the road. Donation at entrance not compulsory but a nice gesture.
Food available if you’re after a bite to eat or a cuppa. Bring your own reusable cup.
Soak up everything that Creswick has to offer.
Enjoy.

the market with the spirit of local. fresh produce from the farm, freshly baked bread or pastry, hand picked flowers, beautifully made craft and organic products. I loved going to farmer's market and see people shopping and enjoying local products.

A true treasure in the region, the market is full of food, makers, and local produce. It's a friendly and relaxed vibe.

Go in hungry and find some of the best food for lunch while walking around the stalls both indoors and outdoors.

Allow about 90 mins to wander, shop, and eat

We enjoyed this Market so very much because the people were happy and friendly. The produce was of a good quality standard and organic vegetables were available that day.
Craft produced was really interesting and varied and stall holders shared their knowledge readily.
It was fun and not too overwhelming as Markets can sometimes be. I guess I would call it an average size and outside and inside Stalls were Selling their wares.

My first market day was a great experience. The stall holders were all very friendly and the community was very supportive. The weather was also very kind and I found the market to be an enjoyable place to be and look forward to going again next month. Such an organised market with a great variety of stalls and something for everyone. Highly recommended for the whole family.

Loved it is an understatement! Aptly described as a happy, small-town market, Creswick Market is "the place to be" from 9am to 1pm on each 3rd Saturday of the month at 21 Victoria St, Creswick, Victoria.
Great vibe, friendly local artisan stall-holders with lots of unique curios and the good ole fashioned stuff on offer. Free kids activities are a bonus and I mean things like art and clay work which is different enough to keep them entertained. Indoor and outdoor stall holders and the variety is wonderful.
The market manager, I'm told, handpicks boutique type stall holders to offer the widest possible variety in all things food, craft and farmers produce and this changes monthly. Support local is his mantra! Well done Trevor!
The slow roasted pork rolls at the May market were to die for. I had 2 and could have eaten a third! The local branches of The Country Women's Association of Victoria are also putting on good old fashioned homemade soup and scones with jam and cream and getting the word out there to prospective new members with this fantastic community market.
Highly recommend you attend, a drive from Melbourne is definitely worth it. Beautiful atmosphere and great selection of food and live entertainment makes the vibe just wonderful. Relaxing and quirky and definitely worth putting in your calendar. Be there! (Just sayin'.)

Such a friendly atmosphere at this genuine 'market'. Lovely handmade clothing, garden ornaments and fabulous fresh produce. There is a refreshing absence of plastic rubbish and lots of people looked like they were regulars, carrying fruit, veg, bread, nuts and honey in bags and baskets early in the morning. I was really pleased to see my Daylesford Sunday market supplier of seeds and nuts here on a Saturday. Saves me a trip!

A lovely country market, filled with local producer's making traditional breads, fabulous sauces and marinades, fudges, spices and dried foods, seedlings and plants, hand made boards to bird houses, children's and adult clothing, hats and socks, amazing enga coffee, soaps and delightful oils and sticks, hand made genuine gem jewelry, fresh vegetables and eggs, homemade pastries. Open air under the gum trees and inside stalls. There is truly something for everyone, a delightful surprise this one!

Such a quaint little market with lots of fresh, home grown or hand crafted products. Its normally bigger, but in this CV-19 world its consumables only. Best coffee from Bean Me Up too!

I've visited the Creswick market about a dozen times over the past 6-8 months and am very happy to see it growing into a fabulous market with a huge range of home grown produce, tasty jams, condiments and other food, entertainment and some stunning hand made creations. Find myself making time to go now each month as there is something new and interesting to see each time! Well done, Creswick and to those involved with building this great market!
