Thank you to Barb who answered my emergency call after hours on a public holiday, she talked me through exactly what to do and after his review today, it’s clear that the team really care about the animals, they’re patient and kind and provide the best service. Would recommend!

The Vet and support staff were so helpful, and made time to see our dog, to make sure she was OK after an ordeal. Wonderful, friendly attitude, clean rooms, and an obvious love for each abd every animal they see.

Barb is amazingly knowledgeable due to her caring nature and many years of experience. We have been taking our animals to her for years. Even before she started Goldfields Vet Practice.

She saved our cat when I was sure we would have to put him down. She has been incredibly compassionate when we unfortunately had to have our dogs put down. Couldn't recommend Barb enough!

Barb is awesome, she's gentle and only prescribes if it's needed. Reception staff are awesome too! Love this clinic and so do our dogs!

This Vet practice is the very best. Your fur baby is in wonderful, safe, caring hands. Barbara the lovely vet, she even kissed my dog when he was a good boy. Barbara discovered my Truffle had a severe dry eye that several other vet's did not even notice. His eyes are so much better now. Truffle had several teeth removed, being an older dog,I was fretting, but they set my mind at ease, and all went well, better than well actually I got to take him home earlier than expected as he recovered so well. I now have NO hesitation or worry with the usual questions, is this a good vet, am I doing my best for my beloved pet..with this vet..You not only get the best vet, best care,but prices are so reasonable in comparison to other vet's, I know that's not an issue for most of us, as we love them however it's just an added bonus..Thank you Barbara and her staff..tail wagging and licks from Truffle and Nina.xx

My family would like to thank Barb for her remarkable care and sensitive service to us, in the end stages of our Tilly's life. She gave up her day off to come to our home to enable us to see Tilly over the rainbow bridge in the comfort of her own home. And right before the public holidays. Such kindness.

So professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. We have used these guys for years and they are amazing. The care for all all animals and personalised hand written letters when you lose a pet is simple amazing.

I have always had a great experience at this vet and I have been here on 3 ocassions. I've had consultations with two different vets here. My dog is a rescue dog who has some trust issues with people and can be weary of other animals. The staff are always accommodating, making sure we can exit while there aren't other dogs in the waiting room. They are patient and kind to my dog and keep her calm. I trust the vets advice here, they are able to explain their reasoning behind decisions and give great advice for future management at home. The staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend Goldfields Vet.

Barb was magnificent with her compassion and genuine concern for my 13 yr old mate Billy. Put to sleep soundly at home, avoiding the stress of any travel. Within 30 minutes of calling the clinic she had arrived at my house.

I had recently adopted a rescue kitten that had a lingering health issue that initially seemed to upper respiratory. After several trips to Goldfields Veterinary Services I was referred to a specialist in Melbourne on Barb's recommendation with great results. Before I go to that point however I had several trips to Goldfield's to see Barb and her team including a couple of out of hours trips and a short stay for my kitten. I have experienced nothing but kind compassionate care from Barb and her team and am lucky to have them as my local vet.

I have been to vets for 20 years and none have treated my animals with the respect that Daniel has today.

He also explained quite clearly in words us non-medical folk can understand what steps are next, and how to keep my precious princess happy and healthy.

I don't just recommend them -- I go so far as to say switch vets if you haven't yet been! These guys are ... amazing.

Barbara is the most knowledgeable and trustworthy vet I've taken my dog to in the Ballarat area. It's just a shame there aren't more vets like her around, because I don't like having to go elsewhere if I need an appointment in a hurry, but of course that can't be helped sometimes.

The team at Goldfields were fantastic and can’t thank them enough for looking after our 4mth golden retriever who suddenly came down with a gastro related illness. So professional and caring and a delight to deal with. Thanks to you all from Milly & I.
