The Retreat at Stirling

The Retreat was such a comfortable and inviting home the three couples had plenty of personal space, the Host was awesome and gave us many tips to enhance our experience. The pantry and fridge offered many options for breakfast as well as very nice coffee machines. Well worth the price, we would do it again!

Everything was perfect. Spacious rooms, large comfortable bed, peaceful location, beautiful bath, and the stocked fridge/pantry with all the basics and GF goodies just put it over the top. They are so considerate and it was the perfect space to getaway for the weekend and recharge.

The Retreat, is a beautiful property in a wonderful setting. We loved it all. Amy was an excellent property manager and was so willing to help when we had a little hiccup getting into our villa. Thoroughly recommend this BnB.

Superb! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in the poolside villa. Cosy, secluded, immaculately clean, comfortable, relaxing. The heated pool was fantastic, as was the bath in the spectacular bathroom. Delicious breakfast options were provided, with our dietary needs catered. Superfast WiFi. Great communication including emails, SMS and the online guidebook. The only thing to let it down was the mattress. I felt like I sank into a hole. All the other wonderful amenities were enough to keep it at 5 stars though and if a new mattress arrives, we will be back to give it 6 stars!

Beautiful picturesque location to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Accomodation very modern and immaculate. The team very contactable and were very quick to respond with a heating question. Would highly recommend!!

I love the serenity. I love being surrounded by nature. This is the perfect place for both. Staff are very friendly and more than willing to help. Breakfast superb. Accommodation just perfect. Heated indoor pool, amazing. I could not ask for any more.

What an incredible property! The pictures online did not do it justice as we were not prepared for just how big it is. It was well appointed with all the amenities you could want with a B&B. The gardens were lovely and made for a beautiful view with our cooked breakfast on Sunday morning.
The main room was huge! Everything you could possibly want was supplied.

We chose The Retreat when visiting the Adelaide Hills with a group of friends. Everyone loved the accommodation, for a group of people Apartment 3 is huge and gave us plenty of room to be together or be apart if that's what we wanted.
All the areas were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the breakfast supplies were generous plus there were other extras such a choice of different types of tea, cling film to store leftovers, olive oil for cooking etc.
The ensuite off the 2nd bedroom in Apartment 3 is quite dated compared to the rest of the apartment but everything worked perfectly. It might disappoint someone who was very picky about the aesthetics, but it certainly didn't bother me.
Bridget and Amy could not have been more helpful. If we had any questions or needed them for anything, they were very responsive and it was a pleasure dealing with them.
Location was also perfect, most of the places we wanted to visit were 10 - 20 minutes away.
I can only comment on Apartment 3 and 4 but we found them to be excellent. If our group ever returns to the Adelaide Hills, we have already decided that The Retreat will be our 'home' of choice.

We stayed in a I bedroom apartment with direct pool access. Very relaxing and romantic getaway. Lots of little luxury extras, hosts have thought of everything! Gas log fire, king size bed, huge bath and heated indoor pool. Breakfast provisions were top quality.Very private and quiet location. Highly recommended

What a fantastic place to stay, relax and enjoy the beauty (and wine) of Adelaide Hills. We made use of the heated pool, spa bath and the incredibly well-equipped kitchen. And what a lovely touch with the provided breakfast, all quality ingredients as well. Another wonderful touch was the Jurlique hair and body products. Just divine. You can really see the owners put a lot of thought and effort into making your stay to be pure relaxation.

The house was amazing! We had a great time enjoying the property and the luxuries of a nice house. The bed was really comfy and as was the feel of the whole house. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, relaxing getaway and some great breakfast.

Fabulous.
We chose this as a base for a 3 day wine tour of the Adelaide Hills. We were 8 pax but the house holds more.
Well appointed throughout the residence.
Numerous breakfast options, including coffee machines are available. Or buy your own.
The central fireplace and kitchen is a great meeting point.
Give it a go......I doubt you will be disappointed.

Recently our family booked the whole house for a family wedding. We stayed 2 nights and the accomodation was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. A beautiful location for pre wedding photos too. Highly recommend.
