Fantastic authentic food and drinks, very efficient and friendly staff great atmosphere.

Not a huge Mexican cuisine fan but I really enjoyed visiting here,cool decor and atmosphere,the Burrito Del Mar was excellent as was the Coconut Margarita,beers were cold and the service was friendly,will be looking forward to the next visit

Hadn't been there in years, but it was absolutely brilliant. Staff were fantastic and lovely. Food was really worth the trek from the rual area. Have already told a bunch of friends to go there. Well done Prickles, you were great 14 years ago and still are.

Amazing food, definitely the best local Mexican restaurant in Darwin. I thoroughly enjoyed the Bean Burrito - veganised by just removing the sour cream and cheese. It was delicious! It would be nice to have an option of vegan cheese, but I still thought it was awesome.

Situated in the Parap Shopping Centre, Parap Place...Prickles offers a comprehensive selection of Mexican foods. My favourites are Entree - Great Balls of Fire
Main - Nachos, Ribs, Burritos Dessert - Banana Burrito. Yummy!!!

Gorgeous little Mexican restaurant tucked away. Food is phenomenal and large portions (and not covered in coriander 😅). Frozen sangria is THE BEST!!!

Excellent service, food is great and owners are lovely. Love the atmosphere would definitely recommend if you looking for quality and well priced meals, I will be visiting again.

Great restaurant with great staff and owner. The restaurant has a lot of history and a relaxing positive vibe. The food is great but not fantastic but way better then hot tamales. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. Diane was a great host

Went here for my birthday meal and the food was incredible! We had the trio of dips and jalapeno cheese balls to start. Both were really tasty. Then two of us got the burrito del mar, I think it's the best burrito I've ever had. Another got beef tacos which she really enjoyed. The portion sizes were generous and the service was really friendly. The place has a great vibe. Worth a visit!

Great place for Mexican food, huge portion. The menu has more option for beef. Beef chimmichunga, great ball of fire and jalapeno bread are my favourite.

Great food and great staff, came home very full and food was hot and fresh also great portion of food.

My favourite restaurant in Darwin. Diane is the most inviting and kind lady and always looks after us so well! Never disappoint (unless I leave my husband to order and he orders me the wrong thing!) would highly highly recommend this restaurant!

Do yourself a favour and go eat here.
We were lucky we arrived without a booking, and they allowed us in if we didn't want to linger, which suited us.
I am glad they did. Food and service was excellent.

Had a lovely birthday dinner there tonight. The wait staff and chef were just fabulous and kept the cake cool and then paraded out singing "Happy Birthday"! Was a real surprise and totally appreciated. Great food as usual - thanks to the great Prickles Team!

Great go to for Territory Takeaway it is one of my sons favourite places to go and whenever the wife is not feeling it we just go here

Love this place. The decor and ambience is perfect. They were also very accommodating. My partner is vegan and the were happy to modify their burrito accordingly and add some vegan cheese we brought along.

Absolutely a must see place in Darwin, been around for 20 years and the food can stand the test of time! 10/10
