Richmond Police Station

Had interview today with First Constable Preston, he was amazing very helpful understanding and take it seriously. Couldn’t thank him enough and help me go though it even it’s super hard talk about it. Thank you again and his team :)

This is probably the best police station I have visited, the officers were very supportive and helpful, I had lost my wallet and they were right on to it, helped me fill in my paperwork and was done in no time.
Have also been here for an interview for my license application, they were also very helpful on this occasion and ultimately I couldn't more highly recommend this station and all the officers I know that work here.

Recommended to anyone that lives in the surrounding suburbs to put your trust in these officers and the station as a whole.

Recently a thief broke into my car and stole a number of items. Upon reporting this to Richmond Police I was put through to Leading Constable James Deegan. He was very professional, diligent and empathetic. He sent the required paperwork within an hour and he followed up the next day. He should be promoted immediately.

I was involved in an accident and needed a Police Report. First Constable Bower was fantastic. He arranged to get the report organised. Even to the extent, he sourced a PC while on sercoment to ensure the report was completed. He was very polite and professional. It was a great experience , after such a horrible incident. Keep up the great work First Constable Bower.

Sgt Binney was terrific, patient and showed empathy while signing numerous pages (quite a lot), that needed to be signed for affidavit that was very important to me - He has great people skills ... It''s important to give credit when credit is due !

I was helped by a great officer (his name was Mark something) He was great and helpful. I love his jokes. Especially about the pelican brief movie reference. Keep up the good work!

Quick service with a smile

A disgruntled and abusive ex compiled false accusations and filed a restraining order against me. The police called my PLACE OF WORK (if my boss would have answered I would likely have been fired) to order me into the station. When inside, they treated me like a criminal and took me to the back room and said they “required” to take a photo of me (I talked my way out of that). Since I had done nothing wrong I asked to see what “evidence” there was against me and they never told me. They just sent me out after one hour being held in a tiny room under police guard with a piece of paper stating all the lies my ex told them.

Got pulled over by two officers for going through an orange light and not updating my address (Mark was one of them). Both officers were so unreasonable and impossible to talk to. They ended up just speeding off while I was in the middle of making my point that they just drove past a Junkie who was jumping in front cars, but they chose to pull me over.

I later called the officer asking for some reasoning, but it fell on deaf ears. A true disgrace.

It's interactions like this that make me lose faith in the Police force. They have added nothing to the society/ community they "serve". They are simply raising revenue for the police department.

I hope they sleep well tonight knowing they've completely crippled someone financially and that they have done absolutely no true policework.

What was that?! I was on the phone with one of the female officer and telling her about what I saw about a creepy man who kept walking around the street where my boyfriend lived then at the end I said "maybe if you guys are patrolling around just noticing about him" and what she said to me is: we know what to do our job we don't need you to tell us, ok" wow, that's attitude is surprising me.
