Eric did an amazing job on my Gibson Les Paul recently. I was very impressed with his knowledge and expertise on guitars in general. He really knows his craft and always goes above and beyond to explain the process of the repair work he performs. Also a great guy to have a chat with.

Such a local institution, hope we get to keep Eric and crew in our main street forever! Passion for music oozes from the place, the lessons and teachers are great value, and while the retail range isn't huge, Eric can tell you why they sell what they sell from his clearly vast experience and product knowledge. Post-purchase care is also fantastic. It's exactly the sort of vibe I want my kids soaking up - good people, great love for making music of all kinds.

I took my Oud to fix at Ivanhoe Music the other day and Eric has done a phenomenal job. He is one of the most knowledgeable and kind humans and professionals I have met. He goes way over and above what you would expect and charges extremely reasonable prices for a very meticulous work. Great advice, great instruments, amazing people! Expect to leave the shop with regained belief in humans.

I had the best experience at this store today, they helped me find the perfect strings for my guitar and the lady that helped me deserves a pay rise, she asked all the right questions so I could find the perfect product! I just put the stings on my guitar she recommended and it sounds like heaven! Thank you for the great customer service I will be back! :)

Took a chance by bringing in my guitar for a set up to Ivanhoe Music. Eric seemed to know what he was talking about when he assessed my guitar, so I was happy to leave it in his hands. But the proof is in the pudding. The guitar I got back felt like a different guitar; better in every way. Tuning stability has improved and it plays like butter. Well worth the money, and would highly recommend a set up by Eric!

Haven’t been in a few years but so glad it’s still there and Eric is doing well. Got my first electric guitar and bass there over 15 years ago with my late dad. Great memories and great store ❤

I've been taking guitar lessons at Ivanhoe Music with Paul for just over a year after purchasing my guitar from the store. Being busy with work and life it's a challenge to get practice in but when it happens it's a great break through lesson (today was one of those days).Paul is an excellent teacher, patient, encouraging and motivating. If students are looking to progress and enjoy their lessons, I recommend him.

As an adult beginner it sometimes can be a little intimidating to come into a guitar store. Eric is a complete gentleman made me feel at ease. Didn't make me feel stupid.
