Australia Post - Richmond Post Shop

I needed to send several parcels abroad, which I’ve never done before. Rob was super friendly, helpful and polite throughout the process, and helped me get everything sorted painlessly!

The staff here are top notch. I wanted to give them a shoutout as it’s not easy to run this particular store as it’s busy throughout the day and it’s a very small compared to other outlets.

One visit I was sending some things interstate, the staff who served me took time out to give me all options a available, prices and ETA’s.

I came here after 4pm and there was a huge line with people lining up outside. So be patient and try to avoid the peak times.

Very friendly staff and great service. Went in on a Saturday five minutes before close to send an urgent package and the gentleman at the counter patiently answered my questions and helped me print and mail my heavy document set. Thank you!

I arrived just before closing and was wanting to exchange money from my card into 20 x $10 and 20 x $5. The teller asked the supervisor who said that they didn’t have enough to service my request.. however, she said “follow me”. She took me to the ATM next door where I withdrew cash then lead me into the foyer where there were machines that spat out the $10 & $5 notes once I inserted the $50 bills. Although she was keen to get back to her PO, she stayed to ensure that it was a smooth transaction. I thanked her profusely and she smiled saying“that’s ok”... thank you again for your assistance and patience 😊

We been there to sign some identity checks forms. Lady behind the counter was very helpful and did all the procedure very patiently and smoothly. I liked the customer service and staff at this post office. THANK YOU!

Great post office and friendly staff. This is my local one for work. Especially the guy with the red hair, beard and glasses. I forgot his name. Made everything so easy and friendly to talk to and explained everything. Keep up the great work team.

This is a great post office, the ladies who work here are really lovely and I know they work hard. I've seen them deal with some difficult customers and difficult situations and manage them very professionally. No matter how long the line is they're always helpful, professional and friendly by the time I get to the counter.

had a recent misunderstanding ALL 7/11 lockers are closed overwhelming all post offices got my goods just saturday i came few min to close and had no proper id securitywise they very strict and not hand out to anyone

Had to change my name on my passport and the person who helped me knew exactly what to do and was very quick but thorough about it

I don’t know her name, but the older lady that served me was so nice and it was honestly the best service I’ve had at a post office before

Best Aus Post in Richmond

Usually the staff at this post office are warm friendly and helpful however recently they’re a new older woman with glasses who is so abrupt and rude to customers. I think if you work in customer service you need to like people. She obviously doesn’t and her manner makes me feel extremely uncomfortable. All the others are wonderful!!!

Never had issues with this post office. Service is always attentive and fast. Only criticism is that the shop is a little old fashioned and scruffy, but hey i am only there to post packages.
