Creswick Regional Park

Driving through the Creswick State Forest for the first time in a few weeks, and I was amazed at the regeneration of the Small Grass Tree (Xanthorrhoea minor) after that section was burnt off last year.

Masses of flower spikes have also attracted masses of the common brown butterfly

Great lake loop working trail .

Great beautiful outdoor place with plenty to do. There are hiking trails,off road tracks, creeks to play and pan for gold in. Not crowded and just beautiful bush country. Restroom at picnic and camp ground 1.

A nice spot to get out and enjoy the bush just out of Ballarat and Creswick. There are many old gold diggings around the hills and Slatey creek. The tracks have some nice 4WD spots and it’s also good for mountain biking or hiking. With a 5 min drive into Creswick you can explore the old buildings in town over lunch.

Great and big state park. Watch out for muddy roads, washes out tracks & misleading roadsigns at this time of the year!!! Follow gps or designated map

Went there for a day with my family , great view and lot of space for everyone to enjoy. My dogs loved being there and had a great time

Beautiful little walk path, Teepees along the track, toadstools and mossy fallen logs. Picturesque!

Beautiful camp grounds at slatey creek, with toilets and a few 4wd tracks. Will definitely be going back

Great spot for a day out. Plenty of light duty tracks and plenty of history. Theres a pit toilet at no.1 campground. Campgrounds are relatively small so get there early

Love the trails. We were hoping to see some Koalas but couldn't spot them. Hopefully next time 🐨

I love the way the place is overflowing with natural bushland. If you are lucky enough to visit on a sunny day, the views are particularly special.

The stars were nice, trees were green, ground was comfy lol what can I say... It's the bush, it did not disappoint

Gorgeous. Feels like an excerpt from the Canadian Rockies. Pine trees and hills with Gorgeous views. Easy to get to right in Creswick and unspoilt. Good infrastructure with roads and paths, the lake is beautiful and unpolluted. Interesting history with the mine and the old pier as well.

This forest is amazing....so peaceful and beautiful .
