Log Cabin Camp

This place is amazing. I could not of asked for a better 3 days.
Our cabin had two sets of bunks, a kitchen and its own bathroom area.
All the staff were so friendly and so helpful, from the kitchen staff, to the men running the programs and to the staff waving as they drive past.
My grandsons had an amazing time!
Thank you for the time you put in to make sure everyone has a great time

As a teacher, this is a fantastic camp that enables children to build confidence and team work skills in a fun environment. Even the Staff were having fun! Thanks for such a great camp. We will be back!

Hi i am a student of Eagle Hawk North P.S, the experience was amazing with extreme activity's like the giant swing and zipline, i enjoyed it very much a would love to go back. Bye😊

The campsite is set in amazing bushland and boasts an incredible assortment of activities and facilities for campers. The staff were helpful yet non-intrusive, making our week a very positive experience.

Absolutely beautiful campsite. Our group are so happy with Log Cabin Camp and what it offers. The whole campsite is super clean and it has EVERYTHING!! The kids had lots of fun completing the outdoor activities, the staff were really helpful, reliable and fun! I am personally grateful for Christine and Grant's positive attitude during our stay, they were so friendly and trustworthy. I was able to contact Christine & Grant at any time and they were always willing to help! Thank you Log Cabin Camp!!! I highly recommend this place!

I came as the cook for our winter camp in July 2022 with a large group of adults & children. The campsite is beautiful with scenic views, large open spaces amazing facilities and very comfy accommodation. The kitchen is renovated and an absolute delight to cook in with extra large bench space and spacious cool room and freezer. Grant and Christine were always available and bent over backwards to make our stay as enjoyable and hassle free as possible. We were lucky with the weather with sunshine all though the 5 days that we stayed! I loved the accommodation i received as the chef with a nice comfy queen bed to fall back on to at the end of a hectic day in the kitchen. The kids and staff had an incredible time and loved all the amazing activities that were on offer! i can't recommend this place enough! THE BEST!

Had been planning to visit this place for sometime and finally could make it last week. We were a group of almost 70 people (around 16 families) with kids as young as 4 years old and adults as old as 65 years old. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the camp.

The cabins were clean, comfortable and airy. Washrooms were quite well maintained. Kitchen was well equipped for self catering groups such as ours. Activities conducted were adventurous and the staff (Tegan) conducting the activities was highly skilled and cooperative. Although we were not able to meet Grant or Christine (there is always a next time) but they were always in touch through emails or phone calls.

The only thing which we couldn't experience was the BonFire Pit as it was raining in the evening.

Hope to visit again in future !!!

We, around 30 families of a total size of more than 100 people including kids of all ages had spent couple of days in this campsite during the Labour day long weekend, we all thoroughly enjoyed.
There are variety of activities for everyone regardless of age and gender in this camp.

Another plus point of this site is its proximity to Melbourne, the location was very convenient as we had families from across Melbourne.

The hosts Christine and Grant were very helpful and also very understanding and accommodative of our specific needs and priorities.

We would highly recommend this site to groups of any size and we are looking forward to the opportunity to go there again.

The camp was a great experience, the staff always have a smile and positive attitude. The activities never fail to get you out of your comfort zone and make you feel good. The Best camp ever!

Just came back from camping at this stunning place. Everyone is super awesome and nothing is too much trouble. The food is amazing!!! Special mention to the camp leaders particularly Teagan, she is efficient, professional and knowledgeable. Apart from assisting children with harnesses etc. She gives them continual encouragement and pep talks. Highly experienced and efficient, she is a rare gem! Aiden is also equally friendly, competent and awesome with the students. The surrounds are spectacular and attention to detail wherever you look. Highly recommend this place - your students will love the activities, the food, the staff and the amenities. Looking forward to going back again.

Such a beautiful place! I stayed with a group of grade 6 kids. We all had a lot of fun. The cabins were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, the activities were fun and the staff were amazing. We stayed for two nights, and I had a lot of kids complaining that we had to leave because they enjoyed it so much. Superb camp! Thank you!!

Great people, great atmosphere. Grant and his team are fantastic hosts giving every group a wonderful experience. Our group loved the 4 Person leap of faith and milk crate stacking. Always seeing improvements. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Log Cabin.

Spent the weekend there for My wife and I's joint 40th birthday with 60 guests. The accomodation was well above expectations, the activities available for young and old were also first class. The giant swing and zip line were favorites for the little and big kids alike! Staff were fantastic in their dealings with us also. I could not recommend a place more highly for a large gathering with more than enough comfortable room for everyone.

This would be the best camp I've been to with southern cross kids camp back in 2010 to 2014

I went there for a wedding. The place is not far from Ballarat CBD. The place was beautiful and convenient. The catering team was amazing with the the drinks and services. The dinner was fantastic. Salads were my favourite. Also, beef brisket was a superstar of the night. Char-grilled pizza was too burned on the bottom and the crust. But it was still scrummy. This place is hidden gem.

What a privilege it is to take a large group of school students to Logcabin Camp.
We have been visiting the camp for several years now and each experience has been so rewarding for everyone.
The preparation before we arrive (with date selections, general communication, dietary requirements, the planning of activities, flexibility, risk assessments and options to accommodate each individual student) has always been professional and a very smooth process. The actual days at Logcabin Camp have been extremely positive too. Seeing each child build their confidence, enhance their teamwork skills, increase their persistence, show resilience, discover new friendships and step out of their comfort zone with so many challenging activities, and with the guidance of the extremely supportive team leaders, is exactly what teachers and families aspire to see.
The wide open spaces, great variety of indoor and outdoor places to use, dedicated staff, abundance of food, many updated facilities and very reasonable pricing certainly compliment Logcabin Camp too.
