I had surgery last month for the first time in my life and I was so nerves about that . But I have to say all staff are awesome , kind and fantastic. Since I stepped in hospital they supported and care me like a mom till discharged. I am very grateful for their efforts.

I recently had my baby, and all the midwives were amazing. They made me feel comfortable, were friendly, and highly knowledgeable.
A huge thank you to Amelia, my incredible midwife during my active labor. Your dedication and care meant the world to me. Thank you for everything you did🤍

I went to the Angliss yesterday for my scheduled day surgery. From the moment I arrived the check in nurse was beautiful and bright. Made me laugh on a day I was really struggling with.
I didn’t wait long before being admitted, and the nurses and doctors were all beautiful to me, made me feel comfortable when I was hurting. I think the 2 main nurses who cared for me were Lisa and Sarah (sorry if that’s wrong), Lisa comforted me and sarah made me laugh! you guys made a very hard day a little bit better. When I went through to wait for operation, the older man made me laugh when I was being prepped for surgery.
You guys are amazing, thank you.
Nurses need to be paid more ❤

I recently had an overnight stay as per having my gallbladder removed, and was treated so very kindly and well by everyone I came in contact with - I was regularly checked in on and provided for by nurses, and just generally felt very safe with all the medical staff.
Thank you to all who took care of me!

I would like to thank the doctors and nurses and support staff who looked after my father on Ward 1 West.
Their professionalism, attentiveness and caring attitude has been most welcome and appreciated.
They are a wonderful team who really look after and care about the people in their care.

They are a great and effective team. A rarity these days. The dated facilities and equipment makes their performance even more remarkable.

I have been attending William Angliss, for 3 kids and the odd emergency for over 25 yrs.
And happened to arrive at emergency again recently.
We are so lucky to have a hospital system like Eastern health, and the Angliss.
The entire team do a remarkable job ,
Always professional, considerate, and efficient, even when dealing with the odd pain in the )).
I don't think people realise the volume, of injuries that are treated, no beds available when I arrived, and somehow they make it happen, all day .
Top job

I've just been released from Western Side General Surgery at William Angliss Hospital, after an overnight stay for a complex hernia op. I'd like to give all of the Nurses and staff a 10 out of 10 for their care and general patient rapport. Not one bad thing to say about any of you whatsoever. A nurse called Eilish in particular stood out. Working a 12 hour shift through the night on only a 20 minute break, and in very trying conditions, whilst some patients took it upon themselves to abuse the nurses to the point where security had to be called, this young nurse never missed a beat. I was very well cared for while in obvious pain. I had every step explained to me thoroughly, and she was just as diligent at the end of her shift as she was at the start. Can't thank her enough. What a star!
To all of my fellow Australians in the ward that night, complaining about food, care, staff, etc. Please remember that all of these things were provided to you for free, and maybe step back and have a long hard look at yourselves.
Thanks again all Angliss staff🙏

Great service and medical service, I was admitted on a Saturday afternoon, we live in a great country I need to thank the nurses and Dr Evan Ng for the treatment I received after what I believe was was caused by an iron supplement overload side effect.
Keep up the good work!

From births, ED treatment and surgery to preventative healthcare - we have been through it all at the Angliss Hospital.
The staff at the Angliss have consistently provided a high level of care and compassion to both myself and my family for many years. I cannot thank Eastern Health and the wonderful staff at this outstanding facility enough for doing what they do each and every day and to a high standard. Thank you 🙏

Another visit for me to the Angliss hospital in Upper Ferntree Gully. I must say if you ever have to be in a hospital or wait to be attended by the emergency dept this is the place to do it. I have only ever had the greatest of care from the Angliss. Doctors and nurses are excellent showing the greatest amount of empathy and attention to the care of their patients. I have found everyone i have dealt with at the Angliss to be exceptional at their respective jobs , they are caring and always so repectful. They take the time to explain what is happening and give you all the support and comforting you need to be co fident you are in very capable and kind hands.
Thank you Angliss hospital and staff for always looking after me, my health and wellbeing. You all deserve a raise and a very big thank you from your community. Wrll done.

I would like to thank the whole team at the Emergency Dept over Dec 21-22 for making my unexpected visit from a frightening one to yet anotherpositive one within my circumstances. The professionalism, compassion and patience of staff generally is always a comforting experience when unfortunately I’ve had to attend emergency. This time was no different. Especial shoutout to young Dr Gorvin, I wish I could name all the lovely nurses I met, all angels. Thank you so much. Sadly I had to be transferred to Maroondah, but I’ll tell the outcome of that story on a separate review 🙄😖

A big thank you to EVERYONE involved in my care for gynae day surgery procedure! All the staff at all levels were lovely and caring, even got a follow-up phone call to see how I'm recovering post procedure the next day. Facilities were fresh and clean (I've seen private hospitals in worse conditions). Sharon and her team are just fantastic, thank you for looking after me!

I found the quality of care after my day procedure which then turned into an overnight stay to be of much higher standards than other hospitals, staff all were so friendly and made me feel safe.

10/10! Firstly, all the staff were very personable. I was treated like a valuable person by each nurse that attended to me, they were friendly empathetic and constantly checking on my needs. Prior to going “under” the surgery team were so great to put my mind at ease, positive and calming with a few laughs. The hospital itself was very comfortable, warm and pleasant. I could have easily spent another night! I can’t speak highly enough of this hospital, and had such a positive experience. Thank you to all who made the effort to treat me like a person, not a number. I would definitely recommend!

I recently visited the ER and short stay unit and was treated absolutely amazing. I felt heard and valued as a person and not just a number. The nurses and doctors took their time to really care for me and went to many lengths to make sure I was fine before I was sent home. As someone who has been traumatised by the health system they really helped change my mind. The food was absolutely amazing. I was never waiting too long and was checked on very frequently and made sure I was comfortable. Everything was explained to me brilliantly many times and I never had any doubts. By far the best public hospital absolutely recommended!

My GP told me that he was concerned about my symptoms from last night & this morning & told me to go to the emergency room & get seen with a letter he provided. His offices are in Chirnside Park & I live in FTG. I went home grabbed a book & more water, having no idea how long I would be there & headed to the Angliss, as they are the closest to my home. Well almost 3.5 hours later I had all kinds of tests & a CT & I was sent home (hoping the issues stay gone), but I am writing this review because every single nurse, doctor & orderly were Extremely kind, professional, understanding & listened to me. I assumed that I would be in a waiting room for a long time, so I brought a towel to lay on the floor with, as I was in too much pain to sit for long. I was on a bed before I could even sit in the waiting room long enough to get uncomfortable. That hospital ER is A++++ & Absolutely wonderful. To ALL of the nurses, doctors & orderlies who were there between 1.05pm & about 3.15pm Sunday 1 October, my deepest & most soul felt Thank You! You are All Amazing!
