I booked my daughter in for a 50 minute General Riding Lesson (Sunday 14th April) which was her first ever riding lesson.

My daughter had the most unforgettable experience and enjoyed every second of it. The staff were nice and my daughter's riding instructor Mia was absolutely lovely. Mia took photos of my daughter's first riding experience, and at the end of my daughter's lesson, Mia told me how well my daughter did and told me all the things that she learned in her first lesson.

My daughter and I had a really wonderful and exciting experience. We love horses so much and we're absolutely thrilled to have found such a wonderful place. We are continuing our riding lessons at Woodland Lodge and have already booked in our next riding lesson.

Absolutely enjoyed our 50mins lesson. The instructor was both friendly and had been around horses for decades. We felt comfortable and well taken care off. The facilities are good and the horse are beautiful and peaceful.highly recommend

:) Booked in a suprise for my partner for our first ever horse ride with Woodlands private tour for 2 farm experience. What a wonderful great experience it was. Thank you to our horse guide Caitlin as she was fantastic and super helpful to both of us being beginners and made us feel very comfortable and supported. We Will definitely be doing regular bookings and we would recommend Caitlin to any beginners like us. My other half was super happy with her and the entire experience. She was a little nervous but Caitlin helped her push through so a big thank you to Caitlin and the Team at woodlands Lodge. Great time!

We took our 4 year old daughter for her first pony ride experience today and she absolutely loved it. Matty the handler was fantastic, really in tune with our daughter, she talked to her the whole time, explaining everything and just chit chatting away with her, making it a really special day. Apples the pony was really gentle and placid and the whole feel of the place was nice. We will come back for more for sure!

We took our family of 5 to Woodlands for our kids to have their first ride.

Wow! They LOVED it!!! And as parents, we were thrilled that they took it at our pace. The ride leaders, Maddie & Caitlyn, were fabulous with the kids, ensuring that they felt safe, capable and never in over their heads.

The horses are beautiful, and were perfect for our novice riders. We range in height from 140cms to 200cms, and there was a horse for every size! The horses were well mannered, and well kept.

I highly recommend Woodlands, and we'd return again in a heartbeat!

I done the trail ride class on Friday and this was the first time I am on horse. It was really great experience and I really enjoyed the class and the trainer Caitlyn was fantastic and the way she ease up the instructions and taking care of your concerns is exceptional. Caitlyn was professional and make you calm and confident and gives valuable suggestions and did answer all my concerns about riding. Will definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to learn horse riding and to have really good customer experience :)

Highly recommend Woodlands, it is a fantastic business. Both my kids do equine therapy with Anita and she is amazing. The horses are beautiful with great temperaments and all the staff are very professional and friendly. We are so grateful we found this gem of a business.

Woodlands in Oaklands Junction must be one of the natural gems in the heart of Melbourne. A mere half an hour drive from the CBD, the farmland spans endless acres of green pastures. Our instructor Federica was super awesome and made our horse riding experience very memorable. Our horses were very tame and were just challenging enough to steer for beginners. Thank you Woodlands and can't wait to get back there again soon!

I had a wonderful experience today at the woodlands lodge. Me and my six year old daughter came for a lesson this morning for my birthday. Olivia our ridding instructor was fantastic she was kind and so helpful, this was only my little girls second time on a pony and Olivia was encouraging and helped her to feel confident and have a great time. We both had a wonderful ridding experience, and I loved being able to share with my daughter the love I have for ridding and horses. My 9 year old son wanted to go horse riding and to find this amazing place only 30 mins from the CBD was great. The instructor (Katelyn) was excellent in identifying my son was nervous (first time on a horse) and was to chat to him throughout the ride to calm his nerves. Within 20 mins my son was riding on his own.....thank you for such a fantastic experience & such a personable one also

My daughters have been having lessons with Federica and after moving from another business she has improved their skills amazingly after the first lesson!! She had my 6 year old doing her first rising trot!! Highly recommend Fede an Woodlands to anyone who enjoys nature and want to learn to ride or just being in nature

My daughter and her best friend had a two hour trail ride with Gerard on 17/12/2021. They thoroughly enjoyed the ride and found Gerard very friendly and engaging. Would highly recommend Woodlands and we will definitely be back as soon as we can.

As the Programs Officer at Solider On I facilitate activities for veterans and their families and this activity provided by Woodlands Lodge was amazing. They allocated horses based on abilities and even made sure the horses were arranged so there were no ill relationships between them. The instructors were so well trained and professional, can't speak highly enough of this wonderful provider and their staff.

Woodlands has an amazing equine therapist, Anita, who has been working with my 11 year old for the past 2 to 3 months. Anita has provided incredible professional support for my complex kid and I and has been our shining light in Covid isolation and difficulties. thanks to everyone at Woodlands but particularly to Anita. 😊😊😊

I had an amazing experience, our instructor Shen was just great! I was nervous at first but with Shen's help I got over it and had the best time on my ride. Will be recommending Woodlands to everyone I meet!

We had our first lesson with Sheydin. She was such a lovely teacher and was very patient. Her style of teaching is very easy to understand. She even offered to take pictures with our horses afterwards. Thanks Sheydin for making our first experience so memorable!

Me and my daughter both are students of Celeste, who is a good instructor with patients and good manners. She is able to give an easy to understand instructions and identify right away if we could not do properly, so to adjust in the early stage. Well done Celeste.

Highly professional team, amazing place to learn horse riding.. my kids love the training and all the attention they get. Definitely recommend Woodlands to get your horse riding lessons.
