Very nice people running the restaurant. Food is outstanding, and we will return. Mapo tofu was the best I've had.

I’m in a wheelchair and find it difficult to get access to places in china town, I was so thankful to find this place that not only was completely accessible, was wonderfully accommodating! They saw my partner wheel me in and immediately moved a chair from a table for two. Not only was this place so lovely as a disabled patron the food here is honestly incredible! I’m a basic white girl who loves some honey chicken and I’ve never had honey chicken like this before. It was literally perfect. It was easy to cut and due to my disability, I have issues with cutting food, but the chicken was so soft and moist, and perfectly cooked That I had no issues whatsoever! After looking all over town A restaurant that sold honey chicken, I’m very happy we landed on this place!

Also want to mention we came on Valentine’s Day and the staff were all super lovely and friendly and wished us a happy Valentine’s Day too, which was just super Lovely! 🥰 cannot wait to come back here!

The staff highly recommend the king prawn and black truffles scallops. The prawn was almost palm big and they were so tender and juicy! The sauce was a garlic based one with a little spicy touch. Scallops comes with snow peas and mushroom, the truffle sauce has a nice aroma, loved everything!!!

Every time we travel to Melbourne from Sydney this restaurant is a must visit and top of the list. The food is always amazing, service is supreme and affordability well within budget.

The variety of dishes and frequent seasonal specials is fantastic. Have never had a bad meal here. Let me change that have never had an average meal here. It always exceeds expectations.

Put it on your list. Pop in and try and im sure you will agree.

The staff were so friendly and the food was outstanding. It was a very busy night as the Comedy Festival and the International Garden Show were on. We couldn't get a table anywhere. Luckily we only had to wait 5 minutes and they got us a table. They informed us there would be a half hour wait as they were short staffed and very busy. We were happy to wait.

The staff were so friendly and attentive. I think it might be just one family, but I don't know. We had rib eye steak with black pepper sauce and the most perfect lemon chicken with special friend rice. It took me back to my childhood. The prawn toast was deliciously smokey too. I don't even know how they did that.

I cannot wait to come back for another meal.

Excellent food and excellent service. We ordered the lobster 🦞 and abalone. Those dishes were well prepared. Our server KK was very nice and helpful. That was a great dinning experience! Cindy

Went for Lunar New Year and had great food and great entertainment.

Wow! What a surprise this place is!
It starts with welcoming staff, a clean restaurant, and a flexible selection of dishes. The fish (Squirrel fish) wasn't on the menu, but was recommended along with some Shanghainese/regional dishes. All the dishes were perfectly cooked with good presentation (chef is from HK).
The menu changes from time to time.
Fair prices for the quality of dishes.
Would highly recommend.

Was looking for a place for dinner, menu looked great, however, was dettered at first due to no empty restaurant. However, after walking up and Chinatown, decided to give it a try. Staff welcoming and food was very delicious. Very Yummy, will definitely return here for the food. On leaving, the restaurant was full.

We walked in after the football, there were thousands on the streets and many hungry! This place was very busy, with 2-3 groups waiting. We liked the menu so were happy to wait 20-30 minutes to be seated. We only waited 10, and were told that meals may take a bit longer tonight.
Meals were out in 15 minutes maximum and were absolutely exceptional. We had the sweet and sour pork (with real pineapple), the special fried rice, honey chicken and chicken and corn soup. All of incredible quality, great portions and nice and hot!!
We couldn’t fault the service we received or the meals we ate, you wouldnt have known they were so busy!
10/10 - we will come back (but with a reservation this time)…

Melbourne is spoiled for choice when it comes to food. So when you find a place that exceeds expectations it is a real treat. Chine on Paramount is amazing. Nestled in the theatre district it's perfect for a feed before a show and it's a good feed at that. I had the Char Kwey Teow and accompanied by a Tiger beer it instantly transported me to a street side food stand in Singapore. It was so authentic it hurt. My partner had the westernised garlic prawns, but they weren't.... westernised that is. Perfect presentation, perfect service perfect food. Can't recommend it enough.

Very tasty selection of dishes, very attentive staff, very welcoming, great atmosphere, would definitely return to try other selections.

Love this place. Favourite dishes are Peking Duck, Cantonese Beef and fish with ginger and shallots as well as the dumplings and spring rolls. Very clean and staff are amazing. We discovered this place many years ago and it is a staple with us whenever we want Chinese

Highly recommended! Always our gathering preference. Good food, good service. We have had corporate function & simple wedding ceremony at the restaurant too! They always accommodate our needs and no disappointment! Restaurant has renovated, environment and atmosphere is even better now! Support local, support City of Melbourne!

Had dinner with a large group of friends.
We were 12 all up but the staff were very accomodating and the food was great too, really enjoyed the dumplings, calamari and roast duck!
