Giraffe Lookout Cafe

This little zoo cafe was unexpectedly fab! We got in before the queues and service was quick and friendly. The barista made some excellent soy lattes and they even warmed our pastries on request. Great views of the giraffes, too.

Great place to view the giraffes and zebras while having lunch. As a family with Zoo memberships this was our usual go-to place for a meal and rest. I was disappointed to find that they no longer serve hot food like burgers and chips.

Stale chips slow service expensive, but view of the giraffe.

Quite simply the most unappealing food in all of Melbourne. $12.70 for a burger that is slightly above room temperature and tastes what I imagine wet cardboard would, $6.50 for cold chips that have 0 flavour.

0/10 would not recommend, save your money and avoid disappointment.

Rip off, display shows $7 for chips and nuggets. At the cashier it says $8. "unfortunately we can't change it, it's gone up". Even the cashier lady says it's a rip off

Lucky I can't give anything less than 1 star, but when your child refuses to eat a plant based nugget and there isn't any meat on any of this menu..... you know something is wrong. Will never buy anything from this disgusting plant based cafe....

Inedible stale bread and cold chips. Classic captive audience low quality food you expect at Melbourne's attractions.
