Tinaroo Sunset Retreat

We had a great stay at Lachie’s cottage. The place is very well looked after. An oasis in the middle of the rainforest. Amazing views and birds from the deck. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the beds very soft and comfortable. Lots of nearby activities like visiting Yungaburra, going for a swim at the nearby lakes or hiking. If you find something wrong with this place you must be hard to please.

Had a great time, would highly recommend. Cottages were very nice and clean and the continental breakfast hit the spot. A relaxing retreat in the rainforest. Will be back again for sure

Absolutely loved my stay! So peaceful and relaxing. The cottages are spacious and well thought out. I particularly loved the fireplace and jacuzzi. Lachlan is a great host! Looking forward to returning in the future.

Very clean, homey, and well maintained cottages with a fabulous and very private back patio with views and a jacuzzi. The bed and pillows were comfy. Lachlan was very hospitable and provided us with ample continental breakfast including freshly baked bread. Highly recommend these cottages for a a peaceful get away.

This place is awesome!! Loved it. Very comfy, beautiful breakfast with fresh bread and fruit platter plus more. The sunset was amazing. Excellent if you want to just stay in and chill or close to other places of interest if you want to explore.

We have stayed here twice now, It’s so quiet & relaxing, very neat & tidy 2 bedroom appartments, with a heated spa on the veranda & a fire place. Amazing sunset. I highly recommend it👍👍👍👍👍

Lachlan offers an awesome personal touch in person including conversation, fresh baked bread, fruit platter, brekkie tucker fire wood etc.
Will be going there in future no qualms.
Simply put...very tidy, all things catered for and such a relaxing, quiet retreat with the ultimate sunset views from the pergola and wildlife.
I recommend it to all.

Beautiful, peaceful and everything you could want from a holiday cottage. Including a jacuzzi on the porch and a wood burner in the lounge!

They took us in when our house was flooded and we had no where to go because of school holidays. Accommodated 2 very exhausted parents and 4 kids. Thank you so much and I would recommend to anyone!!

This is in a very quiet location away from all the hustle and bustle.Very nice helpful owners and the cottage has all the conveniences you need plus little extra personal touches.A lovely welcome breakfast pack and fresh baked bread were very much appreciated.Closest town is Yungaburra where you need to grocery shop.Would highly recommend for those people who enjoy peace and tranquility
