Gami Chicken & Beer

Grabbed a couple of burgers tonight, regular takeaway customer for a fair while now. Grabbed the new Stella Blade burger and the chicken burger light. Both great burgers, blue boy was pretty bloody special though. Highly recommend grabbing one while you can.

Chicken here is quality, wings, legs, whichever you get. Glazes are to die for, thick coated and absolutely delicious. I rate Gami Chicken & Beer very highly and recommend to everyone

Love the Korean fried chicken with honey mustard sauce, one of the best, light crispy skin, tender and juicy chicken..highly recommend..fried chicken with fondue is very good too. Seafood pancake was just ok..And staff is very nice and friendly :)

I always leave this place feeling satisfied when I have cravings for fried chicken. Easy to order from your phone and service here is friendly.

Great place for bbq fried chicken. Not too salty and delicious batter. Massive menu with lots to choose from and a variety of options with the chicken dishes and good side dishes. I would highly recommend and will definitely visit again. A little small so would recommend booking in advance. Friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of drinks too.

The food was good but the restaurant don’t have good light to take beautiful picture. Bring your student card to get discount 5-10%. I love the rice and chicken. Very creamy and tasty. While the rice cake hotpot tasted similar to malatang hotpot … don’t like it at all

Yum! Best Korean fried chicken ever!

I placed a takeaway order. I’m amazed on how they don’t use plastic at all. All the takeaway boxes, spoons everything is recyclable & made of wood. Kudos to their ethical values ❤

Coming to the food, it’s worth the price. I placed an order for wings - I got 14(even though the menu says 12), shredded cabbage with sauce. Good is great too.

Good Gami, I saw some of the other reviews about service but it’s not fine dining. They accommodate 8x of us and let us move tables which we appreciated. Food was regulation and ordering on the app is easy and quick. Good value, tasty chicken.

We shared the large fried chicken with soy garlic. Was plenty enough food for 2. Had a delicious cocktail of beer, soju and honey. Loved it.

Still consistently good. The city branch is definitely better than the Highpoint one for now. The amount of food is generous. I was so full. The only concern is the spicy is up especially the spicy option boneless chicken. I love spicy food so it was so good but if you can't be mindful to ask them to reduce the spiciness.

We had a party of 5 on a Saturday night and staff were able to provide us with a small table without a prior booking.

Food was well made and arrived at the table in good intervals.

Staff were friendly and accommodating.

The stars honestly go to the Potato Heaven dish, it was so tasty and so satisfying. The service was also great, and when we ordered cocktails we were allowed to shake our own drinks, so it was a very friendly and interactive experience.

This is the superior Gami branch. Come here for great grub and booze to enjoy with mates.

We got their big chicken big heart. It was a 1.2 Kg boneless fried chicken accompanied with all of their sauces on the side. It also comes with fries, fried tteokbokki, and mozzarella sticks. The chicken was really moist and crispy. I wished we had more of the spicy sauce. I didn’t really like the sweeter ones. I really liked the dried tteok too it was so good!

We also ordered some soju with the chicken great combo. Highly recommend visiting this branch while we still have Melb money.

We had the boneless chicken with Sweet Chilli sauce and a jug of beer the chicken is so juice and delicious, the shop is hidden down a lane way, the waitress was lovely and very friendly

One of the more cosy/smaller Gamis I have been to. That being said service was excellent and the food the same. We had the potato heaven and the Corndue with extra friend chicken. This was over enough for 3 people along side some Soju of course. It would be wise to book ahead as the line was a little long when we arrived. Luckily we had a booking

The place is so nice, the food very tastes but a little bit spicy 🥵 the chicken very crispy and the cheese was amazing delicious 🤤
