My car was reversed into by someone and had to go through the process of finding a panel beater inner city. Despite closer options to my house I went with Rob & David because of their strong reviews and care. Got my car back today and want to thank the team, looks better than before! After checking on google, I have visited a number of panel beaters with 5 stars review around Melbourne to get quotes for repairing my car. They either gave me a high quote or ask me to claim through my own insurance to get a full fix.
Until I check out this body shop, a very competitive quote was given, dropped in my car last thrusday and picked it up today morning. My car was returned in like brand new condition with fully detailed. Phil and Rob are really nice to deal with and they want us, the customers, to be satisfied with their services.
Their workshop is well maintained and clean. Their communication, attention to detail and quality of work are truly outstanding.

I was recommended South City by another local business, and it has to be one of the best recommendations I have ever received. The damage to my little car was rather bad, it was undrivable, and I was having a lot of delays with my insurer. Rob really went out of his way to explain everything to me - not just the repair process, but also the insurance process. Rob followed up the insurer for me multiple times and kept me updated all throughout. Repairs took about as long as I expected and again Rob was just brilliant with keeping the lines of communication open.
I’m no expert on motor vehicle repair, but my car seems to be handling better than it did before the accident, and visually there is absolutely no indication that anything ever happened.
Could not possibly be happier with the experience I had as a customer at South City & should I ever find myself in need of repairs again, I will be insisting they’re handled by Rob & the team!

Rob and Phil did an incredible job on my Jeep Compass! The time they took to run me through the process from the moment I called in was amazing and constant updates on how things were going, was a level of service I have never experienced from anybody before! Couldn't recommend these guys highly enough for all your body works needs. The parts that were needed were ordered immediately with anticipation they would be needed for the job which goes to show how thorough they are here. Absolutely amazing at what they do. I took my evo 2 in for a repair and respray. It was pretty beat up .. but both the Lads are super professional and easy to communicate with.
They are both honest and easy to work with. They definitely made me feel like I was a part of the whole process, which I really appreciated .

Highly recommend Rob and his team. Not only did they do an excellent repair job, Rob patiently explained the insurance process and best practice. He recommended a rental car agency Acorn Rentals whose service was really smooth. Even when your fully insured, an accident is still bothersome especially for the victim. Rob helped in making sure the process is smooth and will highly recommend his services.

I received a nasty dent in both driver and back passenger doors courtesy of a careless 'car park door opener'. Rob was so thorough in his assessment of what needed to be done, then super efficient with a detailed quote - taking into account I was paying for the job myself. I received the car back in the timeframe stated, at the cost promised and it was polished and cleaned within an inch of its life. There were some scratch marks in another area too, that the team were able to minimise at no extra cost. I highly recommend Rob and his team!
