Andre fitted me and my best man out with a custom suit/vest combo for my wedding and everything was absolutely perfect. His help what colours/patterns match, what photographs well and the sizing was required gave me reassurance with what I was getting. I was looking for a suit for a Gala Dinner that I can also wear occasionally for work also, and because I do not have the “standard” physique, I needed it also to be tailored to fit me. I was shopping around the major brands and tailors around Melbourne and until I found Andre J Menswear. I walked in, without an appointment, and I was welcomed by Andre. Andre was an absolute professional, asking all about the suit, occasion, how I wear it, my preferences, etc. and only then he would make recommendations. He is very knowledgeable on everything suit related and would go out of his way to work with you to get you the best suit made for you. As it got busier, one of Andre team members, Anne, helped me out. She walked me through all the alterations and fitting recommendations. Shout out to Anne for recommending extra trousers as I completely forgot! The end results? I absolutely love the suit and fitted shirt I got from Andre! It was of high quality, and I got a lot of positive feedback others as I wore it on the Gala and to work the next day. I cannot recommend Andre J enough! As I have a boxy, stocky figure I have always struggled to get suits that complement my body and aren't just tailored to tall slender people. As a result, the suits I have bought in the past from mainstream retailers have always been uncomfortable, tight in the wrong places like armpits and backs, badly tailored and expensive.

Andre was recommended through a friend of my wife and he has really pulled through.

He is super accommodating and it's clear that he cares about delivering a good product. He made sure to listen to what I was after and ensure that the tailoring was perfect to my specifications, and where needed provided further refinements with no problem.

I have purchased two suits for me and 3 for my groomsman and he has delivered each time. My groomsmen are more slender types and those fits were perfect for them too. Not only were the fits excellent but the suits were very comfortable. Will definitely be back whenever I need a new one.

I was very impressed with the efficiency and service provided by the team at Andre J Menswear. It was easy to book in a fitting and measuring time for the groomsmen. The quality of the final suits were great and they delivered on all their promises. I felt they were competitively priced and the showroom had plenty of designs and change rooms for their customers.

Andre J's were absolutely terrific in helping us organise Groomsman suits (despite the bridal party only arriving 5 days before the wedding).
