Dr Ryan was my OB throughout two very difficult pregnancies and I could not fathom having this experience under the care of a different OB. Dr Ryan and her team were extremely thorough, caring, informative and professional. Her composure and skill as a health care provider comes second to none and anyone would be lucky to have her on their care team. I especially appreciate Dr Ryan's follow up as well as her ability to get straight to the point all while having time to listen to you and address any concerns. Due to Dr Ryan's exceptional care and expertise, my two babies had a smooth and safe delivery. Highly recommend!!!

I have been seeing Dr Ryan for several years based on my sisters recommendation (she has been seeing her for nearly 10 years and she has a complicated medical history and is extremely particular about who she recommends). Dr. Ryan is an extremely experienced gynaecologist who is calm and considered and very gentle (I am particularly sensitive). I liked her so much I took my daughter to see her and she was very reassuring and took time to give her full explanations. My daughter now sees her regularly. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Rachel is fantastic, she has delivered 3 of my 4 baby girls and I wish she had delivered them all. She is very caring and a lovely person, she has always asked me what I wished to happen but always has the best interests of not only myself but the baby. Would highly recommend her.

Rachel was amazing and I highly recommend her.
It was my second pregnancy and I did public the first time so tried private and glad I did
The whole experience with Rachel was Grea, she really listened to the birth plan and was very calm and amazing and made the delivery much easier!

Dr. Rachel Ryan is the best! I went in for symptoms of PCOS, hirsutism, and a hormone imbalance, and wanted a doctor who was willing to listen to my symptoms and able to diagnose what I had.

I am on overseas insurance (so I cannot speak to Medicare), but they helped me with all of my claims for my insurance very quickly. Her knowledge and equipment is top notch, so I'd highly recommend her if you need to see a specialist.

Amazing. Rachel is calm, thorough, diligent, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. We could not have been more impressed by her. There was a hiccup with our birth and you wouldn't have known it was anything out of the ordinary by Rachel's calm demeanor and professionalism. Follow ups after the birth were also comforting and warm.

Going through all the 5 star reviews I decided to go to her in May. She wasn't that communicative or friendly or even welcoming. But let's say that was ok if she did a full exam and ironed out any concerns. I waited 2 months for this appointment and went to a specialist expecting a thorough check up. Instead walked out disappointed. I was made to feel that I don't have anything serious hence a full exam wasn't necessary. Here I am feeling much worse than before and sick after trying her meds, with side effects that wouldn't go away even after I stopped taking them. Now I have to go to another doctor to fix it. I wouldn't go there again.

Dr Ryan was so rough when I went for a colposcopy that I was bleeding for over a week afterwards. I have had them before and never had been in such pain afterwards. Also, I mentioned I was trying to have a baby and she was so rude about my age, basically telling me that because I was so old I should look into the other services she provided and get tested because the chances of me having a baby were so low (I was 39 at the time). I was aware that age was a factor in getting pregnant, she just made me feel so hopeless and like I had done something wrong, waiting for as long as I did. Little did I know, I was actually pregnant at the time of the colposcopy!!
The receptionist wasn't particular friendly either. In this profession, being a people-person is a must!! Especially when dealing with sensitive issues and emotional times.

I would seriously not advise if looking into issue of fibroids/endometriosis or similar concerns. Like other reviews waited two months for an appointment only to be treated dismissively and rudely. Was told that the issue was not fibroids and simply PCOS however she did not do any scans or procedures to determine this. Was sent off being told to just get the Mirena and it would sort itself out. I literally left in tears from her demeanour during the appointment. Six months later and after getting further tests done by different gynaecologist have been told that heavy bleeding and pain is in fact from a large fibroid on my endometrium.

She should have referred me to someone who was a specialist in this area not given me innacuarate and dismissive advice.

Cannot stress enough that this was a waste of time and money and dramatically delayed my diagnosis of the actual condition.

I would not recommend Dr. Rachel Ryan for anyone living in a marginalised body or even anyone seeking evidence based medical advice.
I went to Dr. Ryan to help with treatment of PCOS, I told her I had a history of restrictive eating and an ED. This was not factored in at all and instead I was prescribed a diet and weight loss as well as lowering my ‘BMI’.
There have been extensive studies that debunk BMI as legitimate science as well as debunking the relationship between weight and PCOS symptoms. Aside from that it is simply unethical to tell someone to go on a diet and lose weight in any context, but especially to someone with a history in these areas.
I left the appointment feeling completely dehumanising and triggered. Medical fat phobia is deadly and it is incredible disappointing to see it in action at this clinic.
