Wow🙌Great coffee, great food, great Service. Not just saying it, it’s for real. Homemade Hollandaise sauce, which you can taste. Umm, just come here and try it for yourself. This cafe is a local hub for Mt Evelyn crowd and passers by for the Warburton rail trail. We always feel welcome and respected. Their food is great, nothing to out of the usual range for a cafe (prices are lower too than usual as a result!). There's always something on the menu and specials card for everybody to enjoy. Life music is good fun and the team is personally involved in the service and having a chat. We love coming here, thanks guys!

Very good food. At first we were apprehensive about the limited menu but our drinks were large and FABULOUS, the chicken parmigiana was crisp on the outside and SUCCULENT on the inside, with deliciously smoky ham and stringy cheese topping. The bacon & egg toasty was fresh with lashings of fresh butter and caramelised bacon. Whilst the service on the special LINDT iced chocolate was slow it was worth the wait. The prices were very reasonable. The owner appreciates cash so come on, hipsters, use it or lose it

Lovely friendly service, absolutely delicious coffee and our lunch of pumpkin ravioli and beetroot & chickpea salad were fantastic. Everything we ordered was cooked beautifully, I was not expecting homemade pasta and really carefully crafted salad with everything freshly cooked.
This lovely little place was way better than I expected, well above standard cafes, and I’d happily travel there again!

If I could give this 10stars I would. The band playing was awesome! We danced along. Was such a lively and lovely dinner. If we lived in the area, we'd definitely make it a family monthly go to. It felt very family, like everyone knew each other. Will definitely visit again. Food was super too! Calamari was so good. Pizza was a great serving.

The photo doesn't show the whole meal. I ate some of it before I realised how delicious it was! REALLY tasty, generous and yummmy! Even the sourdough toast ranked with the best toast I've eaten. They allowed us to swap in avocado to make a vegetarian Big Breakfast. Top marks.

I had my 1st experience today at the Heart and Soul Coffee lounge. I ordered a bacon and egg baguette takeaway and it was delicious. A freshly baked baguette that was toasted, with just the right amount of butter, sauce bacon and egg. Will make it my regular for breakfast and Parkrun.

Lovely. Ordered a hash brown stack and a hokey pokey slice which I believe is home-made. I’m a big fan of their home-made muffins too. Food was great. Hash brown was crispy even take away! And they’re not stingy with avocado.

A nice brunch experience on a Sunday morning. Not too crowded and we were served promptly. There are a decent number of gluten free options despite not being marked on the menu. They understood coeliac disease and I felt safe eating there. I had scrambled eggs and bacon and the serves were generous. Coffee was decent.

Came here the second time ordering the big brekkie (hash stack and chicken avo sandwich previously was both so yum as well, best hashbrowns n creamy hollandise sauce perfectly made), and still consistently serving heartily delicious food. Big value for money, friendly homely staff, really leaving you feeling nourished in your heart & soul :)

Came for a Sunday lunch at 12pm. The only negative part of our experience was waiting 40mins for our food and other service was slow. Will still rate 5 stars.. This place has a great ambience, the live music here is awesome! Chicken Parma was big and delicious. Coffee is fantastic and the lemon meringue was…….. Out of this world. I was already wanting to come back before the meringue… Now it’s a MUST. Great way to enjoy a weekend afternoon :)

Loved this cafe. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting, the staff so friendly and accomodating and the food was so delicious. We were lucky enough to have a Sunday lunch with live music and it was awesome. Can't praise them enough.

Warm & cozy atmosphere situated in the main street of Mount Evelyn with ample parking behind. Extremely well priced dishes that are surprisingly well prepared and presented. Coffee is up there with the best and the staff who exhibit fantastic customer service are also accommodating of children of all ages. A must try!

Oh so delicious! Great music, warm fire, friendly service and live music for when you need some joy in your life. The locals love it, and the world needs more Heart n Soul. 💓

Had breakfast here this morning. Egg and bacon toastie,wow the bread melted in your mouth will be back was extremely 😋 yummy
