Kalorama Park

We spend a Sunday there, good BBQ and clean toilet facilities

We spent Christmas here and it was lovely. This park was easy to find and the area is really nice and clean.
We had a picnic in the picnic area where you can use the BBQs and sit at a table or bring your own food and sit in the grass.
After that we went for a walk and that was magical 😊.
I'll definitely go back there!!!

This place is an ideal spot to enjoy the sunrise in Melbourne!
The lookout just near the car park!
Also there’s a cafe nearby!
So good decision for come here on the first day of the 2021!!

We were there to assist with a Trail Run, superb place runners thoroughly enjoyed it. Sadly someone - perhaps another event organiser had taken diwn markers for runners on Saturday morning...so needed to be replaced. Otherwise superb event!

In the Dandenong Ranges. Beautiful lookout

Serene views of the ranges with the reservoir in the distance.
Good cafe nearby, with forest track for walking.

Beautiful scenic walk and spectacular views. A lot of kookaburras could also be sighted.

Delightful, peaceful place with an amazing view and fresh air. BBQ, tables and a shelter available and a surprising lovely forrest walk close by

Stunning, cafe for a snack, heaps of tracks leading away. Toilet at the bottom of the hill. Recommended stopoff/destination

Great view over the summer Silvan Dam. Romantic sunset views. Fabulous coffee shop/cafe and great parking with wheelchair access.

Awesome picnic place. Beautiful greens due to the rains....there are a couple of BBQ stations there...a good shade with benches....
A small trek walk is through the huge trees.

Absolutely beautiful place. Great BBQ's, toilets, the lookout, amazing walking track- and two kookaburras that are always there singing and watching us. Bunnies, daffodils, just a peaceful and beautiful place! Lovely to grab some food or take a picnic and set up for the day. Relaxing and calm.

Amazing views, love the birds and local flora.

This is a glorious place for a picnic or a bbq if you can ignore the noise of the morons on motorbikes showing off their machismo on the nearby mountain highway. Great views

Lovely park, great space to run around and throw a Frisbee, great BBQ area good for the whole family and a few scotch fillets of course. Playground is a dream but be warned the teacup can get rather treacherous if you have some upper body strength and a few willing companions. A+

Awesome views and a few nice walking tracks in this park. There are also a couple of barbecue areas where you can set up a picnic that are close to the parking area for Kalorama Park. Spend some time reading the placards around the barbecue area to understand the significance of this area.

A kookaburra gave me a ciggie, 10/10 would again
