Silvan Reservoir Park

21/03/24 pleasant 22-degree day setting out to walk Olinda Creek and track 10 to Mt Evelyn. Dog friendly trail. Fresh mountain air in our lungs with the scent of Eucalyptus. No Aussie Fauna sightings Wrens, Rosella, Parrot Kookaburra kept us looking to the trees. 4.6km each way 3 hrs. return overall an enjoyable hike today

A beautiful secluded park, ideal for a quiet family picnic or an afternoon playing sports on the large green open spaces. Not much of a walking path if you’re looking for a real hike. Lots of parking space (2 key areas - the lower one being the main one), heaps of picnic tables around, public toilet available and you might see the odd rosella as well. The reservoir area is completely fenced off as well. Great for big group gatherings and lazy sunny afternoons with friends and family.

Beautiful Reservoir and lovely landscapes. Perfect for photography and drone footage.

So much space for family gatherings and walking. Plenty of parking, 2 carparks. The first carpark is next to the reservoir viewing area, the second and biggest is the picnicking and walking area. Very peaceful.

I love this park so badly. Nice place for children and adults. Toilets are in good condition. You can have fire woods for fire. BBQ facilities too. Dogs allowed. Lovely surrounding!!

A great stop over if you are visiting the flower festival nearby.. lots of space for bbq,picnic and gathering, beautiful trees and has a playground for kids too..

Nice wide open park. Plenty of picnic areas. Decent amount of parking. Toilets, BBQ area and Small play ground for young kids. Worth a visit.

preferred site to conduct Manimush annual end of year party, facilities are not kept up to maintenance and unavailable most times like the main toilet block in the upper part of the park .

Loved the time spent here today! It was sunny and cool in the right proportions! Relaxed in nature , experimented with my phone camera and also, looked at clouds through hyperlapse..day spent well!

Pretty park with pretty trees. Good toilet and bbq facilities. Went a couple of weeks ago and the autumn colors had started appearing so highly recommend a visit in autumn.

Beautiful place to spend time with family and friends with fancy old fashion wood-fire hot plates.

An amazing picnic place! Be sure to go towards the back to have a private spot for some good BBQ! NO GARBAGE DISPOSAL PLACE, so keep that when packing.
