Olinda Falls

This is a reasonably short walk down to a waterfall, though if you have trouble with steep hills or uneven surfaces this may not be the one for you. We saw 7yo kids heading down with their parents and they were handling it.

Growing up, these falls were a really good secret. While the tourists flock here now, it is absolutely worth a visit. Walking through the park to the falls brings about a sense of peace (except walking back up, that's rough). The trees make you feel so small and the air is as fresh as you could imagine.

Beautiful sights, absolutely amazing walking sport if you can get over the dear of your legs feeling like jelly walking up and down those hills.

Seems the falls are continuously flowing all hear round, making for a nice place to picnic, take in the sights and many other things.

Loved this place, the beauty of nature xx the walk down to the falls is quite steep so wear good walking shoes, the falls at the upper viewing were very pretty but quite small, I got halfway down to lower falls but was nervous I might slip on a very steep area in the path with nothing to hold on to. Great cardio workout on way back to car

I really liked the 140 meter walk. it's a bit steep climbing back up. The the mini waterfall is really nice and you can climb the rocks up to the waterfall. Overall I rate this place 5 stars.

Lovely quiet picnic ground with varied wildlife, mostly birds.
The walk to the upper falls is not too difficult, a few hundred metres of easy slope.
The walk to lower falls is steeper and a little further.
Definitely worth having a picnic there and going for a walk to the falls.

The walk down to the Falls is amazing. The walk through the large trees makes this a worthwhile visit on its own. Upper falls is doable with prams but difficult (you may need to leave the prams just before you get to the upper falls though, so if you're not comfortable doing that, this is probably not for you).
The lower falls are better but the path is steep and can be difficult, but many elderly people were going down to see them. It's not possible to go to the lower falls with a pram.

Great little walk with viewing of some small falls. Perfect place to meditate when the tourists aren't about, and has a moderately difficult path up the falls themselves if you are game.

Good views of a small waterfall after a 500m steep walk from the carpark.

Busy spot in Olinda but worth checking out and waiting for a carpark for.

The walk isn’t strenuous at all. There are handrails in all of the areas that need them.

The view of the actual falls is beautiful.

It’s not wheelchair or pram friendly at all.

Simply i loved . walk gave some boost to us.

Track to Olinda Falls is however closed due to fallen trees but waterway can be seen at top on a platform

listen to the voice of nature when once you arrive it's amazing experience, cool weather ... You will have to walk for about 300 meters after you park your car to reach the water fall! ENJOY!

The road going there is a bit challenging but it’s definitely worth going. Tall trees, fresh air , the animals and the water removes the stress away and relaxes the mind. Shops and restaurants are available along the way and picnic is allowed.

If you are interested in a short distance walk, then Olinda Waterfalls is the place for you. The waterfalls are small, but the walking in the forest and breathing fresh air can bring you real joy. The whole circuit takes about an hour.

Beautiful hiking trails, finish up with a picnic amongst beautiful scenery and sounds of nature.

Lots of people, we got there about 10.30am and the picnic car park was full. Beautiful scenery, walked the second track to the falls, awesome place

This is a really beautiful place to go for a walk. Falls aren't big but the surrounding forest is beautiful

Such a beautiful place. Not such a far drive from Melbourne but it offers so much. Great little coffee houses and open fire places in some. The olinda area is just stunning. Its nature walks and waterfall is so pretty
