Short 10- 15 mins walk to an amazing view - It was a slightly cloudy afternoon but we could still see the city from here! Managed to see some gliders get into action too. 10/10 recommend coming here

Parking enough for 6 cars at most. Went for sunset and it was beautiful. Many trees blocking the view so maybe there’s another area that could see better but I didn’t know. Saw some people came and walked down the right side so maybe it’s there.

One of the best look outs in Melbourne. We went on Valentine’s Day to watch the sunset so it was quite busy but even so there were so many little nooks for people to sit and even a viewing platform covered in fake grass which was perfect for a picnic set up.

The view itself is gorgeous with two little parking spots making it a short walk to the look out. You can see just about every part of Melbourne from this spot including the beach in the distance, and even the city skyline far off beyond the clouds. Its great for people of all ages, however the short walk may make it less accessible for some, and I would recommend keeping an eye on kids if you’re bringing them due to the cliff rocks being slightly unstable.

Take some snacks, drinks, a jumper in the cold months and a picnic blanket for the best free lookout spot in the suburbs of Melbourne.

Why pay to park just to get an over paid ice cream when you could enjoy a better view free and bring your own ice cream!!

Been coming here for over 20 years for clean air and to look over Melbourne’s South East.

This track connects between two car parks - free parking.

A beautiful free lookout over the Melbourne! Don’t afraid of the narrow way to top and small parking lots… you should walk around 500 meters down between trees to find the lookout spot! A very peaceful, quiet place for walking, viewing, and enjoying!

The pictures speak for themselves, an absolutely beautiful spot; the photos don't do it justice, it truly is an amazing view of Melbourne

It tends to get more crowded the closer to sunset you get, there aren't many actual parking spots before people start double/triple parking

I enjoyed a refreshing morning hiking there. Great city view. The Scar track is a bit tough for beginners despite it's dry season because of its sheer slope.

Lovely lookout especially for sunset - can see from Mt Dandenong all the way to the CBD and past, and a bit of the bay as well.

Lovely and cheeky wildlife here as well, we had a kookaburra watch and then steal a bite of our pizza!

The walk to the lookout is very short (5 mins) and is a relatively flat dirt track.

There’s parking here, but no restrooms.

Amazing spot with spectacular views over Melbourne. Not recommended if you have toddlers or young kids as it can be dangerous in certain spots. No toilets or amenities exist. Quite raw and virgin.

The climb was a bit steep, the view from the top was definitely worth it

Absolutely awesome little spot with some super impressive views. I believe you could see Geelong from here on a clear day. New years eve would be awesome here. Very peaceful lots of places to sit and eat.
The walk is about 200 meters easy enough for everyone. Wheel chairs are ify.

I couldn't fly the drone for aerial shots because of the super high winds. I will come back to get some.

Probably my favourite lookout, I'll drop by here every now and then. The view is spectacular and you can see everything so far. Breathtaking.

It's nice in the daytime, but me personally I recommend a nightime visit. The city lights is just something else

Burke's Lookout Point offers a breathtaking vista of the city skyline illuminated at night. The twinkling lights create a mesmerizing scene against the dark canvas of the sky. It's a perfect spot for romantic strolls or quiet contemplation, drawing photographers and nature lovers alike. Accessible and serene, it provides an unforgettable escape from the urban hustle.

Beautiful landscape to Melbourne, chill spot, good transport to the place, its better if you bring your own food and drinks because you don't have any store for buy if you need something

Wasn’t a real clear day for a good view so just took a couple of photos Near the car park.
iPhone 15 pro max fully zoomed in on second photo. Amazing.

It is accessible to visitors openly but the carpark area is small and very congested. It is safe to walk around the track on your left as you walk inside so that you can see all angles of view from above over Melbourne Metro suburbs and farmlands

Spectacularly unique experience. Observing how flat Australia is!

It is a spectacular location to see the landscape of Melbourne. Melbourne skyscrapers are vividly visible as tiny dots. If you look with high attentiveness, you can even see Geelong! Having moved to Australia from Europe, I am not used to being able to see such a flat land.

It is a very cool experience and definitely recommended. Also, there are beautiful local pubs or bakeries to complement your trip! Probably a day should suffice.

Such an amazing place to visit after dark. You get to see most parts of Melbourne lit up.

Would definitely go back to watch sunset and make a time-lapse of the transformation.
