Staff is very kind and respectful to all types of patrons. The food comes quick and was made to order. Very spacious. Hard to find parking on Saturday night. Suggestion is to park in the bylanes. The food was delicious and better than other so called authentic South Indian restaurants. Lots of dessert options around.

At Sarvana again this time in Australia —we had brunch of Ghee roast dosa/Thali/onion Uttappa/Rava dosa /Button Idli/Gulab jamun and top it all
With Madeas Filter coffee—So I have had food at Sarvana —Dubai/Oman/ USA & now Melborne
Also one of the few Sarvana where they serve alcohol too

Went for lunch yesterday. Nice restaurant with quiet big seating capacity. They have two sitting areas.
Ordered North Indian thali with Naan. For kids we ordered a cheese pizza combo with coke instead of mango lassi. Staff was nice and friendly but bit slow.
Their cheese pizza combo is different from the one we had at the city.
Thali was nice and sufficient for two people.
Yash, the manager was really nice and friendly.
Restaurant gets busy during lunch hours specially at the weekends.
Overall good experience.

Apologies for not making note of the staff names. My references below is nothing against the race of the staff.

The lovely gentleman who served our food and accompanied the robot, not only was he patient to advise what we are to do by picking up the plate and showing us how to send the robot back. He was also kind enough to suggest the authentic coffee and explain how the tea is made. Very friendly and made us feel comfortable to be able to ask for assistance anytime. This lovely gentleman also came to my table to apologise that certain dishes are not available and can the alternative be given worried that I am not accept it. However the way he explained made me only say yes... And the food definitely didn't disappoint me and brought back memories from my home and my mum. At the end of the evening, my friend and I finished but were chatting away. I noticed a family of 4 entered and stood by the door because no table was available. So after discussing with my friend, we decided to leave and advised this gentleman that they can give this table to the family waiting. The first thing he asked whether we have finished our meal, do we need anything more, can he help us take away any left overs but we were already prepared. Shows how much he cared for us and waved us good bye by saying - See you soon. Now this is called Hospitality

Another staff member who made fresh fruit juices, made the perfect immune booster fresh fruit juice ( Orange+Apple+Carrot+Ginger) with the perfect balance, especially with the ginger because a tad bit more would have made it stronger. Not only I had the first glass in one big gulp as it was DELICIOUS but I ended up ordering the 2nd time. Wish I had tummy space for a 3rd as it was so good and just the way I loved it.

Kudos to the chef for making us the most delicious meals. We order the plantain bhaji which was authentic and tasty bringing back memories. Mini Tiffin was balanced and tasty. Saravana special thalli meal was so so so good. The variety and the generous amount of food met beyond our expectations.

Finally the gentleman who I believe is the boss in blue shirt was so polite and got me extra napkin and container for take away apologising for being forgetful. I asked and was busy enjoying the break and chatting. So didn't really noticed and when he apologized just made it more real how much they care.

This place is a delight for South Indian vegetarian food. We took our friends n kids to this place and enjoyed every bite of Dosa, idly and more.

We were greeted with smile. We ordered 2 different thalis, dosa and idly sambhar. 3-4 staff checked with us if the food was good and everything was OK. They voluntarily came in 2-3 times to check if we needed any refills with the thalis. With their behaviour, it did appeared that our satisfaction mattered to them. Some customers are very critical but running a business and working in a restaurant is tough and hard work, irrespective of that entire staff had a smile on their face. Kudos team 👏

Great place, amazing location. Manpreet helps answers all your questions. The staff including owners are very polite. The food is amazing. We (3) were super hungry and ordered 2 Dosa & Thali and couldn’t finish all due to size, the food tastes amazing. They gave us takeaway boxes as well.

Had a South-Indian thali for lunch today which I enjoyed thoroughly. It was delicious and authentic and the service was excellent. A special shout out to Harshita. She served us with a warm smile and nothing was too much for her from explaining to us the different dishes to our multiple requests and orders which she executed promptly. Saravanaa Bhavan you are lucky to have her work as a part of your team.

Getting there and parking:
Saravana Bhavan has couple of branches in Melbourne. One in the CBA and the other in Werribee. This one in Werribee is close to the Werribee station but not at walkable distance. Take a bus from the station unless you can walk about 2km. Car parking is available nearby.

Service, Food and Quality:
Staff are very professional and polite. They are very present and kept on checking if we were enjoying the meal.

Some of the popular items were ran out even at 7.30pm on a Saturday night.

Food quality and taste was very good. They offer spice level selection for those with a palate for hot dishes. Dishes served include, South Indian, North Indian and 'Indian'ised Chinese food (Noodles, manchurian etc.).

Restaurant is clean and is well maintained.

Pricing:
Food quantity is decent and single portion of main curry is sufficient for about 2-3 people. Pricing is very reasonable.

Definitely worth a visit if you are after Indian vegetarian food.

Extremely pleased with the experience and will keep visiting.

Have some cash to tip the staff if you like as their IT systems don't accept tips.

Everything so so perfect...we liked service very attentive and appreciated....and of course being pure vegetarian it got beautiful varieties of food. Most of ...and we liked whatever we had ordered, waiting for next time to try different things as in Geelong there's no pure vegetarian indian restaurants so we loved this place Of Werribee.. thanks 🙏

Didn’t visit this place for quite some time due to earlier bad experience with food. Thought of giving a try again and got surprised with the food, taste, service and management. Awesome Job new management keep it up 👏

My favourite South Indian food restaurant. Their chutneys are delish. Good for kids as they have many dishes that are mild and not spicy. My son loved their Idli Vada combo and Ragi ghee dosa.

Weekend Thali was really amazing. Especially the Cauliflower Kurma. Loved it. Thank you very much.

Amazing south Indian breakfast I tried in years in Melbourne. We ordered poori, onion bhaji and chilli masala dosa.All were lip smacking. Felt home . Most amazing menu is you got healthy options too 😋

We used to come every time to eat dosa here very good taste. But this weekend my husband pick a paneer butter dosa . It was so tasty . I love this place and customer service very good . 👍👍

If you are off to a good authentic South Indian cuisine.. I think our search in west is over .. I think they got the best dosa variety.. much recommended.!!

The tiffin and business thali are available in the evening as dinner options as well. Something missing in CBD location. Very clean and quick service

One of our favorite restaurants in Melbourne. The South indian food is very authentic. Even their North indian food is quite amazing. The service is really good. The entire ordering system is online from the table.
Today we got the chance to meet the owner Randy, who is working hard to make this place even greater.
The city branch & Werribee branch both are equally good, but we mostly go to Werribee one as it’s close to our place.
