Linc, Loretta and nephew were great.
So generous with their time and effort.

Must do experience! I cannot recomend enough. The boys were super knowledgeable and truly opened their life and culture to us. Felt like family going hunting for dinner and we were thrilled to catch mud crabs, razor clams and cockles. Absolutely delicious meal after a day on the flats!

We did a private Kuku Yalanji tour with our three children (16, 14 and 11) in July 2023 and thought it was outstanding. A great introduction to the Kuku Yalanji culture, including some hands on experience spearing for crab and collecting other shellfish (all of which we ate afterwards), and a beautiful way to take in the landscapes around Mossman. Fantastically led by our guide who was very knowledgeable on the many topics we discussed with him, including local customs, hunting techniques, traditional medicine, foraging and local wildlife.
Each of our children really enjoyed the day, with our youngest in particular raving about it afterwards. Certainly one to put on the itinerary even with the high cost.

Fantastic and enriching experience to go spearfishing with the traditional owners of the land. My 4 year old boy loved the experience and we even managed to spear a small mud crab. The guys are great with kids and my boys couldn't get enough of the chilli crab the guys cooked up with our catch at the end of the tour. The explanation of various cultural artifacts was also great. A must do if you are in the cairns region.

Linc did a fantastic job of showing us the customs of his people and the land they take care of. What was especially interesting was his knowledge of what native plants and animals can provide in the way of food and medicine. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to know more about the native culture and land use.

Must do if around the area!!!
Fantastic tour and was the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide, Brandon taught us so much about his culture and cooked us up an awesome feed at the end of the tour. Brandon and his daughter were so friendly and welcoming, we wouldnt hesitate to do the tour again next time we are up this way!

Absolutely must do if in Port Douglas or Cairns! The guides have so much knowledge of the land, you’ll learn heaps and enjoy an amazing meal of your freshly caught seafood. Amazing tour, great times!

I have been lucky enough to live in Cairns for over 4 years now and have been to many places up and done the majority of things I wanted to but this experience is absolutely in the top couple of things to do up here.
Simple as that, it is a must do experience. Getting a small insight into an amazing culture is the main reason to go. You will get dirty and it is tiring but completely worth it. We took a 10 and 7 year old and they haven't stop talking about it.
Amazing hosts and hospitality shown.
An experience you should never forget.

An unreal morning with Linc and the crew. Awesome to learn more about Kuku Yalanji country through such a down a down to earth, immersive experience.
The beautiful fresh feed of seafood we caught was worth the trip alone.
