Mount Morgan Leichhardt Hotel

Went for lunch today (Easter Sunday) and had the loaded wedges, seafood basket and Leichhardt burger (crumbed steak burger) and the food was 10/10 with no complaints.

Would recommend the loaded wedges, best I have ever had!

A beautiful historic building from the glory days when Mount Morgan mine was thriving. Original images on the wall depict those historic times. Great atmosphere and the food was excellent. We will recommend our guests pay them a visit. From Ferns Miners Rest motel.

Such a great old pub with lots of stories to tell. The steak sandwich is one of the best I've had in Queensland (paired with a local delicacy, a shandy 😉). On Thursday nights, highly recommend stopping in for their pizzas with their home made dough. Great little beer garden and lovely customer service.

Monday night had dinner here 300 gram steak with mash and veggies.. absolutely fantastic meal.Back Thursday night for pizza was just as good and the staff were great, great prices for beer and meals

First of all , Gavin Dixon should stick to his trendy fake hotels, with their overpriced everything and no character on the outside or characters on the inside.
This is a truly great old fashioned family country hotel. Really good XXXX beer , terrific real homemade meals and the owners and the locals make you feel welcome . What fantastic way to learn the local history , sitting in a real original QLD pub , looking at the history painted on the walls , a couple of beers and a history lesson from the locals , a real Aussie experience. Thanks Carl and the crew , I love all old country pubs but yours is best of all.

That's the best steak I have had in a long long time. We all agreed... tender tasty steak....Very relaxing atmosphere loads of character owned by a super young family. Rooms were Clean comfortable and affordable. We Will be back to visit - food and drive from Rocky. We saw a horse hitched up outside.

A must visit, food is wonderful genuine country cooking. Staff are friendly. Fantastic beer garden to sit and relax the afternoon away. Hands down the pub to visit while in town, we love it.

The pub is an iconic old-fashioned building, and the bar has some old artwork on the walls. Good meals, friendly staff, the locals talk to you at the bar. Very interesting place

Little bit bias on this pub as I got my first wristie there, I still bump into the fella every now and then. Anyway meals were good and at a fair price. I definitely left with a smile from ear to ear . All aboard!!

Cute little old traditional pub in Mount Morgan. We read about this pub online and we had to come and see it!! I appreciate how authentic it still looks with the old paintings on the wall. Beer prices are really affordable too.

We can’t believe the fantastic refurbishment of this grand old pub. The new owners have introduced a great new menu with affordable meals. The new poker machine room was more than you’d expect.

What an amazing piece of history..food very pleasant and served very casually and super friendly..please oh please speak to the owners and find out the history of this hotel as it is just incredibly amazing and they are passionate about trying to keep that available to the public.. great experience..rooms upstairs are beautiful and clean even though it may be not en-suite but it is just lovely and i am sure that it is at a suitable budget if you didn’t want to pay motel prices and you will be wrapped in a piece of true Australian history.. enjoy... ask about the paintings on the walls as they are original and what history..10 out of 10!!!

Great value food. Beer is cold. $6 schooners. Warm authentic Aussie pub. Will be back.

Friendly staff great service, prices are great. The food is excellent had lunch with my mum there and the steak was so tender and cooked to perfection!💯😊
